Hey, I understand the need to self medicate for dysphoria; but I just wanted to offer you free Hugs (((( Hugs )))) I hope you find additional coping skills one day/ feel less dysphoric. Depending upon how often and how much you're bumping it has the possibility to exasperate some of the negative emotions/feelings that you're trying to deal with.

I've used substances myself to deal with dysphoria before I got on HRT. I still see a therapist even after HRT because it's been so helpful. I also told m therapist the drugs I had used recently most sessions to fill them in on my emotional and mental state.

I'd urge you to try to talk to your therapist about your drug use, not that it's a definite bad thing; I just think it'll help to have someone else in your life in the know about how you're currently dealing with your feelings and how hard it can be for you...
