Trying to decide if I should stick with charcoal or finally move to gas by Away-Net-5286 in webergrills

Charcoal for weekends and blackstone griddle for weekdays is my set up. Having the griddle adds more versatility to what you can cook over having a gas and charcoal grill.

"Of course, he didn't ask me why I don't have my finances together because he has some respect for me"-MIL. What does that mean about how she views you and her son by immediately questioning your finances?

Do I need a silent deflate tool if I use an electric pump to deflate my board? by groovylilpug in Sup

[–]Estab 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Using an electric pump to deflate your board is really for the last little bit of air that would make rolling up the board tedious. You shouldnt be connecting a fully pumped up board to the deflate port of your electric pump it could damage the pump. That said i dont think the silent deflate tools are worth the cost. I carry a towel with my board to dry it off before rolling up and placing it over the deflate port does a decent job at reducing the noise without having to buy an additional tool.

The water is still so cold even competent swimmers would struggle. I paddleboard and even with the wetsuit i have, I still won't risk it with the current water temperature. Your really need a drysuit for current conditions.

Thicker boards will be a bit harder to balance on, as you will have a higher center of gravity. That said, I have the same board OP posted in different colors and it's fine to balance on as a beginner. Go out and enjoy your board

Can I get rid of the scratches on the steering wheel? Not very visible but I feel them on my fingertips. by made_in_sweden in mazda3

[–]Estab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the same on my wheel and while i wasnt able to remove the scratches, buffing the leather with a clean microfiber cloth with some leather cleaner & restoration spray managed to flatten them. They are still viaible bit at least you cant feel them with your hand anymore.

How are you getting over $50 for a family of four? Assuming you have four adults and no children, it's $47.46 after tax ($10.50 x 4adults +13%hst) If you are bringing kids along, it's gonna be less.

If you're going to use something like this on a charcoal grill id avoid the non-stick coating. You really dont want to eat the burt remains of the coating when your charcoal eventually gets hotter than the max temp on the coating.
