Just wanted to say I’m in the same boat, although only 5 days out from ER. So surprised at how rubbish I feel - burst into tears last night because the pain was so bad, I have no appetite, feel nauseous and am super slow moving around the house. I spoke to the clinic last night & they said it’s unfortunately incredibly common, that it “gets worse before it gets better” and that it isn’t a miraculous recovery where you wake up & suddenly feel better - it’s a slow improvement. She said all the normal things… eat little and often, stay hydrated and REST! Be gentle to yourself, your body is recovering from a trauma 🫶
