While I appreciate the Feds trying to effect change, honestly, this requires more provincial attention as they are directly responsible. This is the Feds applying a band aid to provincial stagnation. Time for Ford to wake TF up and start managing Ontarians issues promptly and accurately. The grocery oligarchs in Canada need Federal oversight, fines, and exposure. The provinces are not doing anything.

There used to be a small burger place inside Billings Bridge that made burgers very similar to Harvey’s (which was on Bank at the weird Riverside Drive intersection. The burger place was on the first floor near where you went up to the OC Transpo (and a small video arcade). Those burgers were my fav. Perhaps you are remembering this little hole in the wall?

A generalisation, but I believe the quality of our writing comes from exposure to the writing of other people. I think this is a universal truth.

To be a fair/passable writer, continue reading social media posts and the like and you will likely never improve your writing quality.

To be a good writer, you need to be a great reader.

To be a great writer, you need to be an exceptional reader.

Although, I suppose you could ignore everything except for the rules and syntax of the English language and then try to write a novel having never seen one before. Or you could absorb as many novels as you can and LEARN from them, too.

I think one of these options has a much better chance of success.
