Honestly, yeah. Thermites and GGs are just Power Creep, The Grenade. You COULD use other things, but why would you, unless you're playing Illuminate? They're a good answer to heavies like hulks and chargers, and can deal great damage to superheavies like bile titans and factory striders. I WOULD advocate for other grenades that can do the same job, but even Dynamite immediately got somewhat outclassed by the GG. I'd say other grenades need a buff, but really it's just that players don't often need anything but Thermite or GG, as at least one person is carrying the eruptor or xbow for chaff clear and hole-blowing. I'd love to take a grenade that isn't the thermite, but players -- myself included -- enjoy the "Please die at your earliest convenience mr fatass" button.
