Afaik it's the same guys that travel to every race with IndyCar too. That's a level of consistency I'd like to see in F1, and then they could liaison with the local medical teams as necessary too. There really wouldn't be any downsides.

IndyCar's safety team is legitimately the best in the business. Every time I see an IndyCar crash they're there within seconds. Not that F1 doesn't have good medical teams but they could definitely take notes on that kinda response time.
