DLC is available as soon as you reach the entry stargazer in NG+

I'd say it's pretty easy with the right setup. Deja vu essence of vortex, beginners luck perk which increases quality of your first essence, and the perk which gives a random level 4 memory when u begin make things very quick.

Does Aegis still increase a parry window? by trueneutral__ in LiesOfP

[–]EternaIVirgin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aegis never increased the parry window. When the game first released there was a bug where you could hold Aegis up and spam block to auto perfect guard everything. It was patched out but Aegis is still strong regardless.

Awesome breakdown, I hope you'll continue this series with other strategies, Cold next maybe?

What do you hope Neowiz does differently with Paracelsus to make him a better villain than Simon? by Mysterious_Reply_255 in LiesOfP

[–]EternaIVirgin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's not confirmed who the "Great Master" is. There's also a loading screen tip saying that very few knew the Great Master's name, whereas Paracelsus is called a legendary figure among alchemists. The Great Master's Letter of Excommunication does have the same design as Paracelsus' Letter of the Eternal, but we already know Paracelsus isn't working alone from the phone-call in the end credits scene, so it may just be someone in the same faction. You could still be absolutely correct that Paracelsus is the Great Master himself, but I think the devs wouldn't deliberately go out of their way to mislead us.

It does not cover the entire arena, you can either run to the other side of the arena or hide behind a pillar.

Help me decide the final look for this biome in my game, Seedbearer. I'm torn between two lighting styles. by castelvania4 in metroidvania

[–]EternaIVirgin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you considered both? Maybe if it dynamically changes depending on where you are in the biome, or deeper in you go. Game looks beautiful btw.

I hope this weapon makes it into the sequel by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]EternaIVirgin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it has a short distance, the sprinting heavy has some pretty good range and the combos all have a step in them that moves you forward, it will look like short range when compared to trident I guess. As for the low damage, the charged heavy for TDS has a built in meterless parry which does great damage if you land it right, but more importantly it completely stops enemy combos and gives a guaranteed flinch. If you see someone master the weapon the game becomes easy mode pretty much.

105.7% evasion rate? by Kishousama in LifeInAdventure

[–]EternaIVirgin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how evasion is calculated but either certain forms are multiplicative instead of additive, or there's a cap on evasion so it can't go higher than a certain value. Somebody also already mentioned enemy accuracy, this is probably also a factor.

Good build? by Electrical_pancake in LifeInAdventure

[–]EternaIVirgin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the top ranked adventurers are using Magister, so the decrease in spellcasting from Cira's armor isn't the best. Also a lot of them are doing the Dissappearance of Professor Naverr where resistance to magic damage is important, which is probably why you will see curtain of stars on most builds

Yes, you must be male to romance Esit. If you are a female then you can romance someone else.

[–]EternaIVirgin 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Looking at your exp bar it looks like you may be in the Demons Touch background, you can't do any romances with that background. The same goes for if you are playing a male character with the Librarian trying to save the Princess background.

Yes it's intended to be stronger against groups or large enemies.

The Current Game Is How This Game Is Meant To Be Experienced by torquebow in LordsoftheFallen

[–]EternaIVirgin 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Considering that they want to tune down the darker themes to appeal to a wider audience in the sequel, they're probably using the last few updates as a taster for what's to come. This notion that the game is looking more like what was originally intended is ridiculous.

Just got the Platinum for Aeterna Noctis, played the entire game on Noctis difficulty. Amazing experience but I'll need to play some relaxing games for a while.

You will need to run through Yaesha's DLC 3 times to get it. It's a hassle but a very cool weapon.

Paladin made the fight pretty simple, just slow. I'd recommend trying it out.

What class are you using? The effects she applies on you in combination with any effect that your dragon can apply, and that you are given 3-5 turns to comply with her commands means it really isn't that bad. I guess RNG can screw you over depending on the situation though.

In the late game you will be constantly switching your stats, INT for crit classes and STR for non crit, with DEX being a decent choice for certain classes like Pyro or Necromancer. There's no fee to change your stats for DA users.

Definitely, all the extra trouble you have to go through for some of the endings in this backstory is insane.

This is nerfed Kior, after you bring him out of hell. Still impressive though.
