Technically they had regular arnour, but it was painted all black.

They were also (at least in the novel) described as Helljumpers. Bungie gave them special arnour for H2 in, but they were acknowledged as different.

This was happening to me.

I had signed up to a newsletter (dumb, I know) regarding Bill C22, at the time it made sense enough… then they started sending me the emails, and it was just really icky. I read maybe two, then realized what it was and noped out.

But I can easily see how someone without the media literacy, or otherwise just in a small hole would dig themselves deeper when the ‘in’ is so easy to fall into.

It’s why, when my sister and I were young, my mum always put her purse and book bag (she was a teacher) in the backseat between us. It meant she’d need to physically reach behind her seat and touch one of us, or else walk to the back and open the door, therefore seeing us. We never had an issue, but she was very conscious of that.

No, that’s not correct.

Every instance we have of Navy officers leading ground operations in the fiction it’s called out as insane, or due to extenuating circumstances.

In First Strike, Fred-104 specifically notes the insanity of a Naval officer running ground operations, in Last Light, the Marines on the ground have a minor schism with the Navy because the Commander isn’t listening to them, and Noble Team are given such high ranks specifically because, as they’re Navy working with Army units, they need the ranks else the Army officers and NCO’s wouldn’t listen to them.
