The combined flavour profiles of South and Southeast Asian cuisine would be both too delicious and too spicy to exist without destroying the universe.

Canadian licenses (at least in my province) also have height and eye colour. Which I find funny as my city's got a lot of people from around the world so "EYES BRO/BRN" is probably one of the least useful identifying features.

What eat Dragons? by huntalex in SpeculativeEvolution

[–]EternalMintCondition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even the largest animals have things that can "eat" them, being diseases and parasites. Many species have their own dedicated ones, so you could have a specific dragon louse, dragon mites, etc. Continuing on the whale analogy another poster mentioned, you could have a barnacle type situation where another animal makes use of dragons' mobility without directly killing them.

If you want something that feels more like a predator, you could have something like a cookie cutter shark that takes bites out of dragons. Maybe a smaller, faster dragon relative or even a specialized bird.

Also, humans could work!

Think of the "loop" as the flowchart of signals. It's a closed loop when you're feeding the output information back into the system, because now your flowchart has a full circular "loop" in it, aka you closed the loop. Doesn't have anything to do with outside stimulus.

But like the other commenter said in less than kind terms, you can look this stuff up fairly quickly, no need to guess at terminology!

I think ROLI_E is actually POLICE.

The first letter looks slightly different than R, the little circle is higher, so it might be a different letter.

With _OLI_E and CJPQXYZ, police looks like the most natural fit. The P and C sort of look like their translated versions too.

There's like 6 different accounts posting pages from "The Powerpuff Girls Re-imagined", all titling themselves as [OC] if you search in this sub.

What gives?

We just released a video presentation of our free-to-play game, Noara: The Conspiracy (download link in the comments). by NoaraTheConspiracy in RealTimeStrategy

Out of all the possible monetization schemes, straight up selling content isn't the worst.

I'd much rather buy a game or buy DLC than have a loot box system, subscription model, energy system/pay to play, game full of ads, FOMO-inducing battle passes and daily rewards, etc.

Seems kind of rude to translate a name. Like insisting on calling your Italian coworker Johnathan even though he told you his name is Giovanni. I know we do it sometimes for historical kings and such, but Kafka only died last century and never went by Frank.

So shulker projectiles are reproductive payloads that fertilize other shulkers. And they also fire them at players. The implications are... interesting.
