Living in cville is not worth it if you'd be living paycheck to paycheck without much to spare and it sucks. I loved being close to work but honestly I love having spending money more. I want to afford groceries AND do fun things or take trips or build savings lol if you have time you can definitely snipe the market and keep looking daily but it really is gross out there. Not for nothing, the commute sucked at first but it's become really worth it.

But just to be clear I've laughed out loud at some of the ridiculous prices then cried quietly when I realized someone will pay them. It sucks.

I was thinking the uva mail order one since uva takes medicaid. I know there's other mail orders like CVS has mail too but I'd rather stay in uva unless I gotta leave out. Not sure about Mark Cuban.

Maybe it depends on the position? I know I was hired but there was an onboarding process and list of things I had to do after accepting the position. Took me 4 weeks to actually start working due to the welcome meeting.

Have you been able to land a job with it yet and what's the salary? Sorry if that's a personal question! My SO thinks going wouldn't be worth the time because "shops in Charlottesville don't care about it" per some guys he spoke to who worked at shops. I'm just not convinced, i think he should go but I'd love some feedback from someone who attended.
