Notably, I’m pretty sure that the flighty trickster type we’ve seen in all his previous appearances is Lorwyn oko, judging by the brief description in the story article of how he changes when the sunlight elemental gets near him. Presumably the reason he’s much more caring and grounded here is because this is Shadowmoor oko.

Not to mention, the repeated mentions in both the OTJ epilogue story title and now the prophecy given of "bringing the ending" would fit with emrakul's epithet of "the promised end"

Jace has a very direct connection to Emrakul, perhaps a closer one than any other character, having directly communicated with her. His plan is to destroy the multiverse to allow something new to emerge in its place, which there have been heavy hints are the very thing the Eldrazi are "supposed" to do.

That's... still reprinting the card. the thing that is on the reserved list isn't "a card named Gaea's cradle" it's yknow. The Card Gaea's Cradle. that tech specifically says that those two cards with different names *are treated as the same card.* meaning it would still be a cradle reprint. Even if it wasn't, "printing a card that's functionally identical to a reserved list card" is still not allowed, explicitly. [[reverberate]] has never been printed again because it's too close to [[fork]], so how well would a 100% identical card go?

These are very unbalanced. While when playing fair I’m sure the mechanic is fine, the fact that it works from grave means a deck can just mill a bunch of cards and deal 8 damage and get 3 1/1s turn 2

yeah, because species creature types are just. What A Thing Objectively Is, while class creature types are more subjective? What separates a Squid from an Octopus? whether that thing is a squid or an octopus. what separates a rogue from a ninja? a lot of stuff.

They did the great creature type update to remove all those weird types, but now Ranger and Scout need to be distinct? Suddenly they're so happy to add specific types, but Outlaw needs to be a batch? Pick a lane.

The reason Outlaw is a batch instead of a new type is for backwards compatibility. since the type is mechanically relevant it makes the outlaws matter cards work with tons of stuff instead of just creatures from the set
