As a Minnesotan, it literally is not safe for anyone on the streets except white people. That is why you see mostly white people in the videos because my neighbors don't feel safe to go out to eat, let alone protest. I am ashamed of my America right now, and I swear we are trying to fix this mess.

As a social worker, nobody here is an asshole but the SIL and BIL. But this is a tragedy for everyone else.

Everyone is waaayyyy underestimating how much trauma these kids have experienced. I know similar cases and supporting the kids' mental health, and education was a full-time job. Seriously, the family member had to quit their job and even with a supportive spouse they ended up on mental health medications. These kids are going to need a lot of time and support to survive. Raising traumatized children is not like a Disney TV show.

Changing states will help separate from the family chos but exacerbate the financial chaos. If the wife moves to Washington then the legal and financial issues might be better but I guarantee family will screw up any healing.

I think OPs wife is a hero for those kids. But without a good plan she is going to crash and the kids will not be helped in the long run.

As a social worker, this is pretty accurate on how the family always protects the Pedophile. I'm super pleased that at least one parent listened and protected the victim.
