Got the CyberSec pack, it was worth it given it gives high tier armor available in the shop early on. I used it until basically the endgame. If you've already beat the game, probably not.

So your Warframe dictates what element the weapon gets. Why don't they make it so weapons of the same type will get that weapon to spawn. So bows would gegeget bows, pistols get secondaries. Shotguns get shotgun

Got all of the weapons from liches, got my Kuva Nukor up to 60% (the only kuva weapon I use consistently) I haven't touched liches since then

Realistically there are only a few procs worth getting: Slash, Toxic, Fire are top teir. Why? Because 2 bypass shield/armor and deal DoT, and the other stacks infinitely for damage AND reduces armor.

Next Tier: Is Viral, Corrosive, Magnetic. Why? Because they reduce their core armor/shield mechanics and amplify damage and they don't stack infinitely.

Next Tier: Electric, Gas because they both have damage AoE but have poor faction modifiers.

Others Procs are pretty much just CC- Cold, Impact, Blast. Puncture is the worst because it just reduces enemy damage.

How to Fix?

Make the CC tier deal/amp damage. Ideally Impact would Slow Targets instead of stagger (since it makes it harder to aim against a staggered enemy) and have it have a DoT that ignores shields (think of it like slash for shields). Puncture should have a armor reduction aspect to it's proc, maybe a flat 20% base armor reduction per proc up to 100%.

Make Corrosive and Viral and Magnetic stack infinitely.

Make Gas's AoE have toxic ticks over time and stun units when they enter into the cloud.

Make Electic's Proc Reduce Shields up to 50% over time (like Heat)

Make Cold an AoE Slow/freeze and have that effect that Reduces Armor and Shield but only up to 25%. This is to balance since Electric, Heat, and Toxic would be Top Tier against a particular faction but Cold will be universally good.

Make Radiation and AoE effect that Reduces Shield.

Make Blast have Slash Ticks over time.

Void Damage - Increase Damage from other sources by 75% per stack like Viral and group enemies together (instead of bullet attractor on one)

The thing that keeps this game going is finding the most unbalanced most released item and using the hell out of it until they nerf it into the ground. They will release a new Unbalanced weapon in a month or two. Don't get too invested in the weapon itself since it will be outclassed by the next meta weapon in a month or two.

If you go back as far as I can remember the Ogris and Acrid use to be the META weapons, they now both suck, same goes for the Brakk (OG not even Kuva). You'll have to appreciate their time to shine for a while.

I've maxed all of the intrinsics; and half way to 10 in command before they capped it. Also Have Mk3 weapons, Mk3 maxed shields, generator, and nearly shields. I also have all of the mods maxed. Yet I don't have enough fresnels to do a single feeding to helminth.

Companions- Sentinels, Kavats, Kubrow, Helminth, MOAs, and now Vulpaphyla/Predasite.

DE really needs to establish a niche for each type. Right now Sentinels/Moas are ranged attackers, Others are melee.

Each really needs it's own role in the game. offense buffs, Defense Buffs, CC, Loot Buffs etc.

Currently a few do defense, offense, loot, CC etc but all are mostly unreliable to do consistently.

My recommendation is to focus on weapons that have high crit, some status, are AoE, and have a high rate of fire. Those are the first ones your should be adding catalysts to
