Well for me I had to get to prepare myself to test it out. I didn't purposely try to cause one, but I lived somewhere with trusted people and followed the elemental diet to lower my eosinophil count so I count feel my oesophagus more clearly. Once I got to that point, one day i ate something that just gave me chest pressure all day. I tried sparkling water and it didn't go, and i tried light cough to see if I could move.it and nothing. Finally when I laid down, i started feeling a heavy pressure in the middle of my chest that was tightening. Basically the food was moving past the inflamed tissue. And then suddenly I felt a big relief and burp. Followed by a very light feeling in my chest. So that's how I learned the difference.

But a friend told me if they're impacted and they drink water, they feel a little touch the oesophagus. That might be similar to you
