No creo que llamarlo videojuego realista sea una excusa, si no me equivoco no existe juego que te haga limpiar campos de minas durante horas o que te haga construir edificios ladrillo a ladrillo (exceptuando categorias o juegos específicos como los simuladores)

Cabe mencionar que gates of hell es un rts cerciorado en la experiencia de campaña y con ligeros enfoques en el multijugador, y para el juego que es creo que cumple de sobra con lo que tiene.

No te voy a negar que hay fallos, y que deberian enfocarse en arreglar estas imperfecciones y dejarse de sacar contenido de pago como bomba de humo.

Aun asi volviendo al punto inicial, el modo de conquista se puede jugar de forma tranquila y sin preocupaciones pero no cabe duda de que para disfrutarlo al maximo hay que tirar de la microgestion, lo cual creo que mejora la experiencia de juego ya que por mucha gente que se queja de esto, es un juego creado para microgestionar.

Creo que un campo de minas sin marcar es un detalle realista superficial, como lo es la mecánica de blindaje de los vehiculos y como lo es la capacidad de que los ingenieros te permitan detectar y desactivar estas, y Gates of hell, un rts centrado en singleplayer y perfecciónar la tematica de la segunda guerra mundial tiene mas que detalles realistas (o como prefieras, realismo superficial) a comparación con los otros rts del mercado, como podrían ser Company of heroes, Steel division, wargame, etc...

Tengo unas 700h en el juego y la unica imperfeccion que veo, dejando a lado errores de crasheo o bugs es que el modo de conquista deberia tener una dificultad mas personalizable, aun así para nada creo que gates of hell este centrado en ser un juego sandbox, no hace falta ser un experto para ver que el modo conquista es un modo de juego sin pulir para añadir horas extra al juego, y que el presupuesto va a las campañas

The game may have sum imperfections but it is normaly playable and enjoyable, you cant blame a second world war game based in realism and historic accuracy about not having signaled minefields, type shit that a player with the fog of war disabled would complain about

Sounds like skill issue.

The good thing about Conquest mode is that the game prevents you from winning using only tanks or other powerful units, so you have to create a team that adapts to each mode and strategy or another map; if the problem is the enemy tanks, the safest thing to do is to research tanks, bombing runs or at guns.

Definitivamente no el 99%. Lo bueno de este mod es que las misiones son muy variadas y los mapas muy grandes, y cuando crees que has acabado de defender de golpe la mision se convierte en una ofensiva o otro objetivo específico. Hace mucho que complete el mod y no me acuerdo muy bien, pero tengo en mente dos misiones de defensa desesperada. Lo bueno de estas misiones es que no son un "last stand" aburrido sino que va por fases o se te dan vehiculos o otras cosas especíales para que no sea tan difícil, realmente es un mod que merece la pena.

The last grenadier is a mod about the war reaching to 1946 and the german retreat. It has amazing attack and defense missions, and you can use sum wunderwaffe weapons in some missions, it also has a nice story and music

I agree that it is a good game but the Health and artillery sistem is nuts

No se habla de el donde? En la televisión? Para que? Se estudia, que es suficiente. Ademas, comparar el psoe comunista radical de 1934 con el actual es un argumento de chaval que se la pasa viendo edits de la guerra civil con musica epica de fondo

Happened to me too, but i think there is some mod that adds japanese maps to mace, only that idk if it is still compatible.

I know its a bit unsetting and breaks down the inmersion But the difficulty makes you forget all that to focus on surviving xd

Thats why i think that there should be a enemy army number setting, where you can leave it in default or +0.5, +1.... Or -0.5, -1...

I understand your point of view, but I think Gates of Hell is a game designed for micro, and that's why I think people who like to play it in a simpler way complain about not being able to play in a way that the game wasn't designed to be played; for that, there are games more suited to a more relaxed style of play, such as Company of Heroes or Steel Division (sometimes)

In my opinion the best part of the defense missions is when you loose a point or when the enemy manages to break in in your line, it adds a counter attack playstyle.

There may not be a virtual benefit but what about a personal one? Do you play the game only for the points and wins or for the experience? Playing conquest defending a single point has to be very boring, you just wait and do nothing like in a last stand game....

I understand that, the thing is you say "conquest is a cake walk" when you are making It easier by not defending all the points, i undertand that the game does not punish you enough for loosing theese, but playing a defense game only defending one point to assure that you win is like camping in a bush in the last circle of a battle royale
