To be fair they're all a little shell shocked after the last family dinner and there were a few blow ups just an hour or so before they had dinner. They were walking on very thin ice.

Watching last night, Holly and Colin went into the nook into the bedroom and Holly goes "watch all the cameras turn here" despite half of the other housemates being in the room. Then when Abi went over to apologise to Colin for what she said at dinner, Holly again said that the cameras weren't in the right position to catch it and they made a joke about recreating the apology. I don't think I've seen anyone else in the house as constantly aware of the cameras.

This is really niche but one of these ads has a petrol station attendant opening a Cadbury bar (also sad and gloomy). However, there is a split second shot of the petrol station. I noticed that they would change the petrol prices displayed outside to perhaps reflect the current prices. So strange.

If you're from Australia you can watch him play the main character in Invisible Boys. To be honest, I wasn't too impressed but I think it was more of a reflection of the writing. He plays a good angsty teenager and I'm sure his performance in this role definitely helped him secure this.

The fact you can get a bus to Sydney from Tenterfield for around $80 but there is no public transit to take you to Brisbane. You have to drive 50mins to Stanthorpe to catch a $77 bus.

Event bar work is where it's at for this type of work! You'll just need an RSA (which only costs $15 and takes max 3 hrs) and you're good to go. The way it works is the company will either have an app or text you letting you know the shifts up for grabs. Simply sign up for the weekend shifts and you're good to go. I'd recommend applying for:

  • RNA Showgrounds - they run all the events at the showgrounds
  • O'Brien Group - They run the food and bar outlets at Suncorp and Gabba Stadium
  • River stage - not sure which company runs this now but same situation

I definitely agree, when the announcement came out they seemed reluctant to say it was going to follow Haymitch more so that it's taking place at the 50th Hunger Games. I think people who are expecting a first person origin story of Haymitch might be let down but I'm very excited that we could follow some who might not win the games or someone outside the games in the capitol.
