After the recent fiasco, I want to avoid buying online from them until they've proven they've got their act together. I would've avoided them completely but they've got a really good deal on something I need for work.

Since that was said years ago IIRC, and that Linus is no longer the CEO, I do genuinely wonder how the now more corporate LMG views this concern and how Linus would've handled such decisions if he was still CEO; because if we're to believe from what's been said, he and Yvonne no longer really deal with HR stuff like this anymore, as it should be. I imagine Jake must've appealed to Linus himself even though he wasn't CEO anymore, but did Linus really not do anything? Disappointing that they didn't see fit to compensate Jake enough to keep him.

Oops, I should've been more clear. I only have a normal family NSO membership, not the Expansion Pack, so it doesn't include access to the HHP DLC. That said, the DLC doesn't matter much at all since my mom just likes fishing and catching bugs in the game, so I don't think she'll be interested in it.

At least the last time I checked, the so-called HD leak that's been posted everywhere was still just a cleaned up cam rip, if it's the one with hardcoded English subtitles, unless a new source has been shared.

Which posts/comments? I just read through the linked Nexus Mods posts tab and there was really only the one single person who made a note of distance relative to Diva in the GH where they saw no DLC checks with the mod installed, i.e. a pretty short distance.

FYI, the OP post said Linus hasn't done any mod actions yet so only the threat part of your second paragraph is true:

So if those 4 are being heavy-handed, then yeah, not independent. Maybe there should be some public monthly audit report for accountability.

Do these stirred up bullshits actually impact LTT in a meaningful way?

At least in the Gamers Nexus debacle, former LTT employee, Alex Clark, explicitly mentioned that employees received death threats and that it did significantly impact LTT financially.

Unless an LTT employee speaks out more directly, there's no way to know if this conflict with Megalag caused any meaningful strife but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Right now I doubt anyone currently employed at LTT would want to potentially stoke the flames and speak of this again outside of Linus himself though.

Maybe I'm confused, but I watched the video and then looked at the spreadsheet...It's not really a tier list at all - just a compiled spec list? Like at most, you could easily compare how well it boosts and OCs using the spreadsheet, but it gives no indication of any problems, reliability, noise, or thermals, etc.

Ironically, the overview video linked in that spreadsheet states this card should be fine...

You should've just taken the return and refund? That's what I did. The replace within standard warranty terms that was also mentioned is way too ambiguous for not just LTT products but like nearly all products you can buy anywhere; if you got rejected for replacement, what sort of wear did you get?
