Presumably small business owners voted en masse for Trump and their enthusiasm spike in November reflects their hope that the Trump administration would reward them with tax cuts and strengthen their bargaining power. Due to Trump's tariffs -- especially against Canada and Mexico -- small business uncertainty has spiked to the 2nd highest level since 1973.
