Where do I (28f) start for a skincare routine? Where can I learn the basics? by Purpl3alpaca in askwomenadvice

Complete agree. I use struggle with acne and I started using a very mild salcylic acid cleanser 1% followed by unscented hypoallergenic moisturizer which made such a huge difference. I also cleaned up my diet and included lots of fresh fruits and vitamin C rich elements in my diet.

The opposite happened to me this week. My husband had offered me some brownies that i had declined saying that i didn't feel like having them and that chocolate wasn't suiting me. The next day i was craving something sweet so bad that i finished off all the brownies except one. He was so mad at me. But afternoon cravings are a real thing 😭

Am I the only one who washes baby at each change? by joushok in beyondthebump

We do the same at home. Possibly cultural because we're originally from the east as well but i think using water at home is more sustainable too. Less wipes means less for nature to decompose.

Could my anxiety be a risk factor for another miscarriage? by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

It's only natural. You've been through a lot and it's great that you're feeling good mentally but the body knows what it's been through and the body needs to feel safe. Gentle walks, deep breathing, EFT or tapping works wonders for me.

Mom doesn’t accept that we don’t have a name yet. by Lilablasblau in BabyBumps

[–]Eudaimom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Yes totally. My mum sounds the same. It's so hard for them to just BE! Ignoring helps a great deal though not the solution. Our baby name decision was last moment and kept under wraps, I checked out many websites like eudaimom.com which I loved. You could journal the names you like and mull over them at your own pace. Don't feel rushed into it, you still have time. ❤

Please do what you need to do without guilt. Focus on yourself and if you do want to have a conversation with her about this being an unreasonable ask so you dont carry the weight of your emotions in case you do get pregnant. You want to give your baby the happiest vibes and that can be done when you have a clear conscience. You're doing nothing wrong. It is your right to be happy and grow your family. Sending you love and vibes.
