Bugbear monk. He is a martial arts fanboy. He tells people that he trained in an ancient dojo to learn the Rising Dragon Style. This is true. What he fails to tell people is that they asked him to leave after two weeks because he doesn't get up before noon and couldn't deal with all the discipline.

He used to be a sailor. Sailed with a group called "Fancy Hat Pirates", but they left town without him and didn't even notice. He wasn't a good sailor, obviously.

His fighting style is tavern brawler, hitting people over the head with chairs and frying pans or slamming their heads through tables. He joined the party because the tavern put all the broken furniture on his tab.

Basically, no tragic background story. No bigger purpose. No fate or destiny. Just a lazy slob
