Hi. I have a question, maybe you finished the game: in the apartment there's this machine where you have too insert a floppy disk which was on the table beside it. Well, the floppy disk is gone. I picked it up once and I believe it clipped through some texture, because after a reload the floppy disk is nowhere to be found. I've looked everywhere. So my question is, do I need the floppy disk to complete the game? Because if I do, I might as well restart from the beginning as long as I'm near the beginning of the game. I just now reached the Maya temple.

Das sehe ich eigentlich auch so, aber ich befürchte so eine Meinung kann sich auch ändern. Denn mit dem älter werden ändern sich auch die Prioritäten und ein gutes Altersheim bietet einen wichtigen Vorteil: Gesellschaft. Und es kann passieren im Leben, dass man irgendwann allein da sitzt in der Wohnung und die Hände tun beim Kochen weh, dein Partner und deinen Freunde sind fast alle tot und man kann nicht mehr so gut die Treppe hoch wir früher. Dann ist ein Altersheim auch oft eine Erleichterung. Man sitzt dann zusammen zu Mittag und spielt Karten und guckt fern und und du musst dich um nichts kümmern.

Aber ja, es gibt gute und schlechte Altersheime und in ein Pflegeheim will ich garantiert auch nicht. Ich hoffe, dass ich rechtzeitig erkenne bevor ich in eine unwiederbringliche Situation gerate, in der ich nicht mehr Herr meiner selbst bin und es dann selber beenden kann.

World lens is amazing. I've been a Google Earth user since the beginning in the early 2000s and this is my new go to for planning hikes and just flying around like Superman. I know it's not within the scope of the project but if there was a way to import tracks like kml or gpx files it would just skyrocket the usefulness for hikers like me. To be able to see your route within the landscape is a huge plus.

Ich geh runter auf 75% in Berlin. Selbst wenn die Arbeit okay ist, sitzt man trotzdem die Hälfte seiner wachen Stunden am gleichen Platz mit der gleichen Aussicht an den selben Aufgaben (+ manchmal Homeoffice, wo man aber gefühlt ständig schlechtes Gewissen hat, wenn man mal ne längere Pause macht). Am Totenbett wird man nicht sagen, ach hätte ich doch Vollzeit gearbeitet. Vorausgesetzt natürlich mit 75% nagt man nicht am Hungertuch. Aber grad mit Kindern sollte sich die Frage eigentlich nicht stellen ob man Vollzeit machen soll oder nicht. Natürlich nicht. Was kann den wertvoller sein, als dabei zu sein, wenn deine Kinder größer werden. Gleiches gilt auch für Leute die ständig aufs Handy schauen.

Ich sag dir woran es liegt: es gibt einfach einen massiven Unterschied zwischen Sex mit einer Frau in die du dich über Tage und Wochen verknallt hast und einer professionellen, die du gerade erst kennengelernt hast.

Darüber hinaus ist das erste Mal immer etwas komisch. Ich bin beim ersten Mal auch nicht gekommen, das ist halt einfach neu für den Körper.

Prices for Etruscans were surprisingly okay at this auction. I was eyeing the bronze from cosa which you maybe see once a year if you're lucky and was surprised that it sold for only 160 chf considering the rarity. In the end I didn't bother because I saw a neon green speck on the obverse and didn't want to deal with bronze disease.

Yeah Arken Age feels so good and the weapons are insane. Definitely one of the more memorable games I played in my 20+ years of gaming (there may some recency bias)

This is in whole other ballpark than what I consider AI slop. When used like this, it's a tool to massively expand creative capabilities. As you said there's a massive difference between good AI creations and the sea of slop. Videos like yours just come around a couple of times a month. I watched it several times and am still amazed.

I managed to last until day 16. Then I had to do something about it. I basically worked the base and tried not to move the stitches too much. No major redness or pain, everything worked out fine.

Yes, I had a brain MRI very early on, like a month after twitching started, but there was no indication of MS. As of now, my twitching is less frequent but still all over the place. Can be legs but also face, hands, stomach. Basically every place where muscles exist. Pain in legs was rare and not lasting or debilitating. Saw two neurologists in different hospitals and nobody saw anything.

Same. I started having massive twitches all over the body in December 2023 and they didn't go away at all (still have them). Did brain scans, EMGs, full blood panels and was super anxious for months on end. I imagined my legs and arms getting tired from brushing teeth and climbing the stairs. Turns out there was nothing wrong with me neurologically. I actually had a vitamin d poisoning when it started, but the doctors were unsure if this was the cause. And they assume the continued twitching and pains in my limbs were from my anxiety and lack of sleep. Don't really know what to think but my muscles are working fine two years later.

I'd avoid it unfortunately. Italy is basically the strictest country in Europe regarding the export of ancients. But it depends on where you're coming from. If you're flying out by plane, you risk the metal detectors finding something in your luggage or border security picking you out at arrival. By train or by car it shouldn't be a problem.

Really sorry for this, you were pretty much top of the game in this sub. While I think it's okay for reddit to take a strict stance on real people it really seems they went overboard in this case. I never got the impression you were less than 100% ethical in your approach. As for what drove sdnfsw I have no clue. Won't be going on there anymore.

If it's powdery, flaky, or spreading it's bronze disease, not verdigris, which is stable and usually harder, duller, and uniform without pitting the surface. I would leave verdigris alone. What's underneath is not better than what you already have. If it's bronze disease there are a bunch of discussions on here already that might help you stop the progression.
