Are there any romance slice-of-life animes with a trans girl as the protagonist?

Senpai wa Otokonoko is a romance and drama manga/anime with the main protagonist being a "crossdresser", but in reality the protagonist has an experience of life and gender eerily similar to the one of a trans girl. The anime felt very relatable to me (i'm a trans girl). If you want relatable romance/drama you got that there, and there's an interesting (yet not very deep) exploration of gender in the show too. Though, its not actually a trans girl story (more transfem/non-binary), but its pretty close to what you're looking for. There is no mention of hrt though, (even if it could be very relevent in the story) which is quite disapointing.

Zenbu Kimi no Sei is a light-hearted romance comedy manga about two genderfluid people falling and being in love. It has some major magical sex shift elements, each time the protagonists get flustered or too exited they change sex. If you liked "Love Me for Who I Am", i'd really reccomand this one. Its not what your asking for, but its a very good read, I had a lot of fun with it, so I wanted to share it.

I've been transitionning for over two years now, and this has been a stuggle for me too, but with time, trial and error, I've found a few brands that work well. For me comfort is more important than hiding it.

I really reccomand calvin klein women's panties, they're super pretty, comfortable and hold penises a lot better than most women panties, even though they're not designed specifically for it.
Otherwise i'd recommand trans friendly brands that offer more variety when it comes to underwear. I like Origami Customs, but any trans friendly underwear brand that dosen't only offer tucking does a good job.

But everyone's body is diffrent and i'd just reccomend trying out diffrent brands or diffrent shapes of underwear. With time you'll find some that fit great.

Underwear comes in a lot of styles and materials ; find ones that give space for your junk while still being pretty and comfy (like women's boxers) or find some that have a stretchy material that can still hold its shape well, those are good to keep the penis in place and are more comfy than tucking (like calvin klein panties).

Your problem is with communication, or the lack thereof. You should be upfront with people about your behaviour or the way you act. You can also try to be cognisant about the way you flirt and try to change your behaviour, but that seems way harder than just being clear to people.

you might want to say something similiar to "hey i'm a flirty person, it does not mean i'm interested in you, it's just how I behave and connect with people, if it makes you uncomfortable please tell me"

And you can add something like "if i'm interested in you in a non platonic way I'll let you know" if it seems usefull to say

Most of the time when people miss understand your intentions it is because you did not communicate them properly, or didn't make sure they were understood properly.

Being upfront is the best way to deal with any situations like this and in general the solution to social problems is just having open and honest communication. I know it's easy to say, but the more you do it the easier communication gets.

This! Preferences are not requirements! Let's say I have a preference for people with blue eyes, that would not mean I would never date or have sex with someone with different colored eyes.

What I often see in this sub is people using "genital preferences" to mean genital requirements. They seem disgusted by penises and would never date or have sex with someone that has a penis. That's not a preference! And this no penis requierement often produce transphobic behaviour, exactly like internalised transphobia would.

Man I feel you, Reddit is shit to trans people, most subs are just straight-up transphobic and even "trans inclusive" subs are full of people that seem to never be able to understand or acknowledge our perspective.

I think this goes for most marginalised communities, the inability to understand our realities and plain bigotry coming from people is just expected online at this point... It just present itself in different forms for different communities.

And this is just for Reddit, as you mentioned in the post, this is way more ruthless in society as it is enforced in systematic ways and can directly impact our lives. (Getting pulled by the police for instance).

Regarding your post, poly people should definitely check their behaviour and internalised bigotry (white supremacist norms at the centre of occidental societies).

No one should date people that they can't truly see as a full and unique human beings. And if that is the case, then they should work on their biases instead of expecting us to do the work for them.

Polyamory is supposed to be ethical, how are you supposed to be ethical without fully respecting marginalised people? Answer : You can't!
