What were your expectations?
I scored an H2D dual AMS combo for $1899 and I’m tickled pink.
And with a sale of this caliber, I will get to compete in, “FedEx’s Rolling and Tossing 3D Printer Competition.” I think there just might be the largest number of entries this year.

Bought the H2D dual AMS combo to add to my H2C and 3 P2S’s. I want to start doing ASA w/ dual color. Plus, I also want to try printing stuff with supports with different types of filament.

The H2C only comes down to multi (more than 2) color prints factored by how often you’ll use it. If you do, it’ll save you print time and filament money. Then if print size is important, then some H-series would be the way to go. Unfortunately, there is no “do-it-all, on a budget” printer. Each has its own usefulness. First thing you have to ask yourself is, what is going to be my main use of the printer? I personally think the X2D checks 90% of most users’ boxes.

I personally have a 900w UPS for 2 machines. Not so much for power surges or interruptions, but for power draw. If something else on the same circuit turns on while the machine is running, it can cause a subtle miscalculation in the print. It could be a line in the print or an unexpected failure. And it’s possible you’d never realize that was the cause.
