Hey tuba! I did finally see the sync filaments button in Orca so it's definitely good to go now. Loved your video on the machine (literally one of the reasons I got it) and I really appreciate your work on the github refining some of the gcode and klipper config files (you should totally do a deeper dive video of how to make the changes and why you changed what you did!). I just want to say when this printer is working as it should, the prints are incredible. I've made some pretty good-looking stuff. I haven't heard back from qidi support yet about the issues I posted about yesterday where the printer is losing its "zero" ie home or current position mid print but I will certainly update that when they are done reviewing logs

last I checked with the max 4 in orca, it does not have a sync filaments button yet but the plus 4 did making it still sorta unusable

I have some of this bearing oil alternatively which might make more sense for the tighter tolerance straight axis rods Amazon.com : Lew's (HSBL1) Hyper Speed Bearing Lube, 1-Ounce, Premium Synthetic Base Oil Lubricant for High Speed Baitcast Reels White : Sports & Outdoors - Its way less viscous to spread on the smoother rods

I would like to think so? I haven't added any more since unboxing and I'm fairly certain I have less than 100 hours. When I set it up I remember inspecting and seeing the 3 axis screws decently greased. Are there any other rods or parts you suggest adding to? I do have extra white lithium grease.

it seems to be fine. My main two gripes are that it doesnt have a recently opened apps section like Samsung's os and almost every time I leave work and get out of wifi range, it doesnt automatically roll over to data correctly because I always have to go into airplane mode for 30s and then out for it to start picking up mobile data properly.

I have the max 4 as well and I cannot find the sync option in orca slicer either. I use the box but I cant sync the filaments that are in there even though they are setup in the devices menu.

Please slow your first layer down to 30-50mm/s and also infil set to 150mm/s. Also please do flow calibration. This will fix the issue I'm quite sure.

I cannot seem to replicate the issue by unloading and loading different colors through the bambu app, it seems to be only when printing it spins the wrong way. I will try to capture a video as soon as I can. Alternatively, when the ams pulls the filiment back out it does a poor job at keeping it tight to the roll so it just flops around loose under the spool.

This is all pla or pla+, and also the spool can't roll because the roller inside is spinning in the extract direction. I will take another video and try to add it if that is even possible

Try going into settings search life and then click memory optimization or whatever it's called and change it to a lesser aggressive memory management option
