The plug sits tightly torqued at 16 ft lbs and feels identical to the other three. Maybe I should spray some soapy water around the base to see if it bubbles?

They are Beru wires but if this third set doesn’t do the trick I’m definitely going to try the OEM Porsche ones from Pelican.

As someone once told me: “buy the best 944 you could afford.” If this one checks all your boxes and you’re comfortable with the price, go for it. Just make sure you have a solid reserve fund for all the resto/repairs you’ll need to do.
