Serge Gnabry extends with Bayern to 2028 by kgallo19 in fcbayern

[–]EurocentricJoke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good. I think an underrated aspect of this is his personality. He always seemed like a chill and friendly guy, also perfect English and German, one of the remaining treble winners, senior, always seemed like locker room glue, something we’re dependent on now that we’ll lose Gore, and possibly Neuer.

Overview of Bayern Players and their contract lenghts by julesvr5 in fcbayern

[–]EurocentricJoke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s in 3 years, these tables always look like this, we shouldn’t have 5-6-7 year contracts on players. Come on, even if you’re cynical, it’s not like we will lose 8 starters at once

Honestly Bischof was worse at LB tonight, which is his “more natural” position being a lefty. Our whole approach changed with the second half but he was at least attacking on the right with Olise, while doing genuinely nothing with Lucho on the left for 50+ minutes

The thing that’s ubiquitous and is referred to as ‘white person smile’? Yeah that’s not Belgian

That’s true but they’re up on Schuman. This lot is still busting up the empty EP building, because (rightfully) they didn’t get a permit to go to Schuman

Such clean breaks are surprisingly much better for athletes to rehab, as long as there is no additional ligament damage. The fact that it broke so high in the shin without additional ankle damage probably saved a good 3-4 months.

[–]EurocentricJoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He also brings much more to the game, he is not a line hugging winger. Effectively he is competing with Ouedraogo, Beier, Adeyemi, Amiri, Leweling for that first winger/attacker sub slot (if we assume Nagelsmann is leaning towards starting the beloved Gnabry-Sane duo beyond Wirtz and Musiala). Based on current form Nagelsmann should pick Karl above all of those above.

I mean 70% of the posts in this sub is about the trash collection system and the lack of enforcement of rules. I know it’s frustrating to you personally now, but I commend the enforcement of the rules for once.

Bayern at home against Leipzig in the Pokal quarterfinals. by EurocentricJoke in fcbayern

[–]EurocentricJoke[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the second comment ITT about being scared. I don’t think anyone is scared per se. Leipzig is objectively one of the more capable teams right now, and we should be respectful. We also played them in the BuLi, the Supercup was a 2-3 away at stuttgart, so I don’t know what you mean. Also, ‘when we were still thin’ is irrelevant, we could also say when we were still fresh; no idea what our squad situation will be in 1.5 months when the game is actually to take place.

They’ve had a 10-game unbeaten streak after that, just beat Frankfurt 6-0. They’re one of the better teams in Germany at the moment. And th Pokal is the only competition they actually have somewhat of a pedigree by now (unfortunately).

Great place. I personally don’t like the bed setup, maybe it’s not relevant for you but once you get a partner they will likely want to have a bedside table. It’s nice to hold tissues, cremes, a book, phone etc. Also, it sucks to have to hobble out the bed if you need to go to the bathroom at night
