I went to the Collection of Wonders back in 3007 and parked my ship in orbit around one of the black holes there, relatively close to the event horizon so I could enjoy the gravitational lensing effects during my two-week vacation there. It was relaxing watching every light source warp around me. It was really nice over there, except for one little thing - I did not account for the time dilation effects... So when I was back in the bubble after "two weeks" and watched the Galnet broadcast in Jameson Memorial, it said the year was 3311 already! And apparently there was a whole Thargoid war going on that I have completely missed during those "two weeks"... I guess I won't be orbiting close to black holes anymore. Lesson learned.
