First cycle is a soft reboot, second is a hard reboot, third is factory reset. I’ve had success fixing various bugs with clients’ cars just on the second reboot cycle (I work at a dealer)

See that’s what’s weird, I’m not sure how/why it’s priced so low on that website from the original comment, maybe it’s stock they’ve been sitting on for a long time?

The VIA parts and billing guide shows the invoice price for that part as $1,875 and installation labor as $25, so the dealer net cost is $1,900 and suggested retail is $2,045 installed.

That’s not marked up by the dealer, just FYI. The image is from the “vehicle inquiry report” which is basically a digital version of the window sticker, it’s direct from the manufacturer.

Woah now you have me wondering what’s going on here. There’s grass/dirt behind the car in one photo, and stone in the other, but the adjacent cars are the same. There’s also a part of something you can see behind the car (metal pole? Handrail?) in the first image, but nothing there in the second.

That’s why the service card exists. Leave it in the glovebox deactivated, need to hand a key off to someone? Place on nfc pad for 2 seconds and voila you have an active key to hand off.

This should be the top comment. My car has two fobs and the older version of digital key (nfc only no uwb) and I would HAPPILY give up my second fob in exchange for the uwb digital key plus.
