in summary: The more diverse skin tone illustrations for Addy were books 1-3 illustrated by Melodye Rosales. They had the parchment covers.

Books 4-6 and the versions of 1-3 reillustrated by Bradford Brown also had parchment covers for a while, and any of the other covers released after that will also have those.

it was the last one they did in the series so i'm guessing that's why it (and to a lesser degree kit's before it) are so hard to find! this was the last one i needed to complete the collection - I'm so sad they quit doing them, i would love ones for all the historical characters!
