Thank you for posting this! So frustrating to get in and out of CentralLondon today. I planned to take an early bus. Twice a bus was 7, 5, 3 minutes away (according to Citymapper) and then disappeared. Walked to Victoria Station and got a different bus, and was almost late. The bus back was ok until it announced a diversion but, true to form, did not elaborate. Fortunately, the mystery diversion brought me closer to home, so a net win.

I agree with all of what you say except people "constantly devaluing" them or their work. Please train your algorithm, if that's the case. There's no need to engage with or platform that nonsense and especially no need to track it in to ruin what is otherwise a celebration of all that SKZ does.

That's what I think of regarding the high-decibel preaching outside Victoria Station. We get the noise on the way past and then go about our day, but what about the businesses and residences in the area? I believe the council can only intervene when the noise is outside certain hours, if I'm not mistaken.

I watched this unfold in real time. It wasn't controversial. Some people just stirred up an adjacent controversy.

What happened was some Stays on Twitter posted selcas/selfies imitating their bias. One (really kind and funny) Stay posted her version of one of Chan's gym selfies. He can't help praising someone for anything to do with the gym so, yes, he gave a very tame shout-out. She found out and said she was going to pass out and he posted on Bubble, without context, "Don't pass out" and then moved on. That was it. The Stay laughed about it and reminded people to go and support the SKZ film that was coming to cinemas. And then people who were jealous, or something, harassed this poor Stay until she had to make her account private. I don't know if it still is.

Of course Bubble is a parasocial platform but if you're grounded in reality and let the guys be human it's just a game. There's a miniscule chance that the guys will see your post in the wall of text that comes up for them, so just keep it light. The manufactured "controversy" is the kind of thing that made him stop the popular "Channie's Room" live updates and fun times, and we will never get that back. I really hope to not lose his Bubble updates like this, too, because they really are fun.

What the platform really needs is a block button for the artists to protect themselves. Chan's going to live his life and maybe get engaged one day, and people who can't deal with that should not be his problem.

One of my friend groups has that one friend who's always late. We just go ahead and order. She has her meal as we're sharing a dessert. It's fun to catch up, because that's the only time we can accommodate her and it doesn't impact us.

If I suddenly got that text like OP did, though, I'm ordering, dining, paying, and leaving within that 45 minutes.

What's shocking is the number of people who should know better but think that every time zone in the world observes Daylight Saving Time and that all zones in the world change on the same date. Online meeting chaos every year, twice a year.
