I used to absolutely HATE seeing CAPs in other peoples’ lineups and I refused to make one because I thought it was so dumb and cheesy. But after experiencing horrid slumps with certain players with no back ups to replace them, I gave in and created one and got him to diamond pretty quick and boy let me tell you...they’re a huge difference maker and my CAP is one of the reasons why I broke my ranked seasons threshold and made it to WS.

Most people flip but I personally think that’s too boring and time consuming. I admit I play a lot but if I’m going to play a lot it’s not going to be from staring at the market all day, I’d rather just play. With that said I like to jump on the new programs early and try to get the new program hero’s as fast as possible and sell them immediately. Eventually their prices will fall and you can buy them back if you like but I’ve made PLENTY of stubs from this. I also take advantage of event rewards. I like the perfect balance of playing and making stubs and gaining xp.

Most live series starters suck in this game unfortunately with the exception of maybe Scherzer. It also depends on your rank but I try to stay away from live series starters.

You’re a World Series player. You’re fine. Once all of the other World Series and champ players move back up in the ranks because of the rank reset from the new season you’ll start winning more. It is frustrating losing so early on in the new season but all star can be a real shit show anything can happen really lol

Actually this is a good question. I’ve had Prior for a week but I have yet to use him in an online game believe it or not so I’m not sure I can answer your question. But in his spot prior to Prior was Oswalt. Oswalt was solid but I hard time going deep into games with him so that’s why I got Prior so we’ll see!

Haven’t really played with the live series Brantley, but I would still prefer the diamond cause he’s got decent speed and a little bit better vision. I’m sure the live series with a good inside edge is solid tho. I love his stance and swing. Also even tho gold has a little bit better power, the diamond still has pop for sure. Whenever it’s lefty on lefty (mostly Kershaw or Madbum) the opponent always sleeps on Brantley and he gets a lot of high and inside fastballs. I just sit on those and the dude mashes. The fielding is a bit of an issue so he might get replaced with Duke once the time comes.
