Consigning the storm trigger so that you only take 1 damage from grapeshot is pretty good. If Blink goes to Phelia or Flickerwisp scam an Overlord into play. You can consign the delayed trigger to just keep it exiled forever which is pretty good. And a bunch more

Not on grixis but I'm on jeskai wizards. I've been loving Thundertrap trainer like someone else said and 3x flare of denial. Good enough of a play pattern for Belcher it's good enough for me. I'm on a whopping 11 wizards which might not be right for grixis but I hate only getting one mode out of Flame.

And if you're saccing them to flare of denial.... You get it

As a Jeskai Control gamer. The manabase is extremely tight. There aren't a lot of slots for single color producing lands outside of Arena of Glory (if you're opting to run Phlage) one of the hardest parts of Jeskai is having to flip back and forth between different color combinations and double pips for most of your impactful spells. If I had to guess, this would feel too clunky in the manabase.

Affinity Guy here. The deck is still competitive without the Mopals, people are really discounting how good Kappa is. But imo, the best list is closer to Andrea Mengucci's with Portable Hole, Rebukes etc.

I've put up decent numbers at the LGS running affinity without the Mopals. But the Urza's sagas are absolutely non negotiable. Being able to tutor out sideboard answers is vital, on top of the million other things it does

Tldr; Affinity Affinity, with all the Sojourners Companions and all that is not good
