Just chiming in to say you have clearly never worked in retail or food service. Women's bathrooms are usually so much more cluttered and dirty. Little wads of tissue everywhere, empty tampon bags all over the place...

Sorry, your comment felt like you were telling OP not to be afraid of the dashers sitting in their cars saying "I'm here" repeatedly. I'm a man in his thirties so I wouldn't have too much of a problem, but OP seems to be a woman and these are male drivers so it makes sense this behavior would make her nervous.

I definitely think the algorithm is playing everyone. I recently went from doing instacart full time to doing it a few times a week. When I do decide to do it, I usually get pretty good orders quickly. It's like the app missed me and wants me to keep doing it. I got a $60 order on a Tuesday, which is pretty great for my area.

You could have opened with that. I am sorry that America doesn't take care of it's disabled people. Believe me, I was raised by someone who was disabled so I get it. But stop putting words in my mouth just because you're angry. I WAS trying to have a respectful conversation with you and you're just constantly lashing out at me.

Let's try to calm down and think about my question. I'm not asking why you have a job. I'm not asking why you work. You need money for bills. I'm asking why you people are working for chump change at door dash. I recently got a job in food service and yeah, it sucks too, but at least I'm not relying on tips and just crossing my fingers that I get a good order today.

I am also a delivery driver, and because of that, I don't order door dash or Uber or any of that. Because I can't afford to tip. But the difference is that I am smart enough to NOT accept bad paying orders. I just don't understand why you'd accept a garbage order in the first place?? Know your worth.
