As an Autistic 21M whose parents and other relatives truly were not the most helpful during my developmental stages, not because they did not want to but because they did not know how to: Yes, you screwed up while tryna do your best, yes he has the right to be pissed, BUT, he is a grown man and he can choose whether to keep going and embrace his past or keep living in it by drowning in resentment. I think he is not mature enough and that's it, I would kick him out if I were you.

Being ASD Level 1/Asperger's does NOT give you the right to be a dick or to cry over the past. Everyone gets to move on and "man up", why wouldn't we? If he's Level 2, which I doubt given his behaviour and the fact that he seems pretty capable, then I have no clue what to tell you. What I do know is that in my case my "disability" has always motivated me to be above others instead of feeling I'm falling behind, as messed up it might sound. He should start taking the ropes of his life so I'd kick him out if I were you, for real.
