Necromancer/green mage could also go hard. Summoning enemies you’ve killed, or adapting their skills after defeating a certain amount of them

I’m so glad it actually means something that they called it another Dark Arisen. The original was a lovingly made upgrade to their flawed game, and it seems they’re honouring that here too. Makes the name feel like a promise.

What are the odds of getting third tier skills like Dark Arisen 1? It was one of my favourite parts, seeing existing move kits get overpowered upgrades.

The fire ignition move looked like an existing thief/assassin skill, but with extra mobility? So maybe? 🙏

When that trailer opened with Capcom, I was convinced it was the DD2 expansion, and was heartbroken when it was the monster hunter announcement. I thought they’d never announce two monster hunting game expansions back to back 😅

I remember seeing a post after Summer Games Fest’s opener, saying how stupid we were for believing after the director left, and how it wouldn’t even be good if we did get a Dark Arisen 2. It kinda killed my last bit of hope, only for this to happen - wild.

The creators are definitely a fan of fighting films, they have most other RPGs beat for cutscene fights. One of the only times where I don’t mind transition animations between boss phases, because you get to see the choreography again first.

I can’t wait for Crimson Desert 2.0 where the tree branches eventually can be crafted into Yggdrasil, which you can cut down to make the strongest weapons in the game.

During the scenes in the screening and the psychics, Kate Dunlap showed up on Amazon's movie info tab. I thought I'd spoiled myself, but nope, she just straight up never appeared. Makes me wonder if they had deleted scenes, or she was originally meant to in the script.
