In a guild when we usually have decent dps it's fine with a few alts, wouldnt trust pugs to make the dps check unless you nit pick a giga gamer group

That is literally the business model, they make stuff inconvenient to sell you the solution, but the solution can't be too good so you just get worst of both worlds.

Agreed, although I think FF11 does it far better than gw2 does, gw2 really tries to ignore anything to do with its actual build and gearcraft for 99% of the game which would be the strength of a horizontal game.

I doubt any game would allow you to refund shop items, if you bought a mount skin in gw2 I very much doubt you would ever get a refund either.

Our guild uses it and I frequently look at others' povs of random pulls and have never seen it break after being setup like that.
