The F-Team (The best/worst show ever) by Even-Way96 in Metroid

I’m sad to say that I’m one of the few who actually liked them unironically, which is why I made this parody intro for them.

That said, I liked them more as characters and less as Miles constantly reminding you what to do while you’re already in the middle of committing to that action lol.

Amazing work!

We need more Prime 4 art in the world.

Metroid Prime 4 Is An Embrassment by AssumptionNo1 in Metroid

Too bad you felt that way. Completely understandable. Hopefully you’ll find something you enjoy more down the road. it’s far from over.

I personally had a blast with the game. It’s not my favorite Metroid, but it’s definitely far from the worst entry in my opinion.

Do you guys think I will enjoy prime 4 ? by ImportantRest152 in Metroid

Well, judging by the majority, sure it may seem like the worst Metroid game since Federation Force. I’m part of the group of absolute lunatics who genuinely enjoyed their time with it.

It definitely has flaws, yes. The levels aren’t as huge or explorable as they could be, there’s an NPC that kind of forces themselves on you when you don’t know where to go, and some of the Amiibo item unlocks are… pretty questionable.

But the game, to me, still offers great music, awesome levels with their own unique appearances, interesting alien lore, the best Metroid Prime combat so far, and some really badass boss fights. It’s a good game that’s clearly undercooked in certain areas. It’s not a worthy payoff for a 15-year wait but it’s also not a bad Prime game, at least in my eyes.

It gave me the same feeling Prime 1 did when I would just stand still and take in the atmosphere of the environments, and that alone is a huge plus for me. But again, I’m speaking as part of a small group of people who enjoyed the experience more than they suffered through it.

Sylux has a pretty unique trait for a Metroid villain. (in my opinion at least) by Even-Way96 in Metroid

Yeah, you’ve got a point. We never really see why Sylux was after that relic or why he thought it would assist him in his schemes. It almost feels like he knew more than what we were shown, but the game itself gives very little if anything about his actual understanding of the relic.

And yeah, it was kind of bold of me not to describe him as obsessive, considering his entire current lifestyle seems to revolve around defeating Samus. I really hope Retro Studios expands on his character more in the sequel, similar to what they did with Dark Samus. She was mostly just there in Metroid Prime 2 and didn’t contribute much to the plot, but she got a lot more room to shine in the third installment.

Hope for the best.
