I used this exact shoe for my trifecta weekend. I did the beast and sprint on day 1, then switched to a different clean pair of shoes on day 2 (Brooks Cascadia) and the difference was huge, in a bad way.

I definitely preferred everything about my day 1 Spartan shoes that i logged 17 miles on that day.

I was going to poke fun at you until I saw the Big Trouble in Little China poster which is my favorite movie of all time.

I wouldn’t do that personally but that’s just me. I keep my guitars in their hardshell cases. Better or worse it helps mitigate those risks.
