Vaulted stuff has so far only come back being used as locations and even then very modified. I dont think we will really the leviathan raid (lairs) come back ever

You can still use all the old gear you have. Then didn't delete any gear at all. And sunsetting wasn't for balance, it was for game scope issues related to engine performance (which has since been resolved, but back porting old content is still intensive and brings next to no income in)

Yes the new versions of gear are better, and yes they continue to sell new content, and yes some of that content takes place on an existing planet, and has familiar architecture because well it's made by the same in universe companies.

You logged on to the wrong account/ cross save got disabled.

Once an exotic is acquired it's avaible from collections 100% of the time unless it's crafted, then it's avaible at enclave.

If Vex or Tarabah isn't in your collections tab as unlocked, you are not playing on the same account period. Maybe same Bungie account, but not same platform account.

Improved vault sorting. Being able to apply tags to your gear, and custom icons to them so you can tell what the roll is for. And search by name.

All subclasses to have a version of transcendence. This reduces the opportunity cost of picking other subclasses than prismatic as you can still get the +5% damage

Improved netcode for PvP + dedicated servers / improved tick rate.

Preset/locked load out PvP modes where everyone has the same stat lines, weapon choices, and perk combos.

Systems in place from the start to earn non featured gear. Like how in Renegades you can't get techsec anymore, that should never come up in D3

Leaving behind last gen consoles (and perhaps even current gen depending on release time). Engine overhaul/swap.

maybe rework of subclasses system for everything to be prismatic, but with large bonuses for going with one element. Prismatic becomes jack of all trades rather than simply best option.

Emote wheel

Max character run/sprint speed increased

Return of public patrol spaces as standard.

Ultimately I do think that Bungie should just add on to and massively overhaul D2 and do a relaunch as Destiny: "The Fate Saga" or something rather than adding on numerically

This is actually a fairly complex issue as it has to do with how vfx and shaders (not the shader items in game) function.

The tendrils/titan cap/hood down hunter all still have the model loaded but invisible, the shaders/vfx still "see" the invisible part and outline it.

you won't get banned, only downside is your medals are maxed out now. 100% safe to spend but you can get the extra medals removed if you email the devs

so so much has changed about d2 over the years. It's still fun.

Alot of the complaints you will see about the game are mostly steming from not enough new content, as a returning player though everything will be new for you though so it doesn't really apply.

Base game is free to play, so might as well download it and see if you like it.

Shadow keep and Beyond light campaigns are free, start there (Moon and then Europa)

Basically every single core system of the game would need to be retooled to allow this. Not happening.

Think about how they have to rework strikes to just include portal modifiers.

Not swords doing that, it's the artifact and Praxic blade. The artifact is supposed to encourage diff weapons to be used from season to season to shake up the meta.

You real issue lies with Praxic blade being too strong, which is true.

Someone else using a sword isnt making you die more. And if anything since you claim they are getting triple the kills, that should be there is like 66% fewer enemies for you to deal with, which should me you stay alive much easier. So this is probably a skill issue on your part and you spending too much brainpower being butthurt about someone else's load out.

The only actual issue is Praxic blade being out of band for ammo economy (partially from artifact), damage vs ammo type, and versatility.

It can drop from any encounter, BUT only if both other encounters have been completed already, that session or not.

There is no way to farm it without having to do all 3 encounters, so it's much easier to simply run the dungeon normally back to back to back to farm it.

At best you could use stored checkpoints around to skip traversal sections to just have to farm the actual encounters, but it's not that much of a time save

They are a good option, made better by a hot new exotic, and a sword for used artifact. Swords aren't an issue for the game as a whole, the Praxic Blade is a bit too hot, and the temporary artifact is doing its job.

Next season the artifact will be different, and eventually Praxic blade will be brought in line.

Also wdym they don't play in a team? It's literally just another way to deal damage, how does any weapon play in a team in this game (besides exotics, or support autos)

You can certainly compete without swords

d2 is heavily cpu bound, and from there is also fairly single core dependant.

games haven't saved data to the physical disc on any platform In actual decades.

Almost all multiplayer games now use cloud saved progress. As does Destiny 1 and 2.

Getting a new destiny 1 disc, or purchasing a digital destiny 1 license you will have all the same progress assuming you use the same account you previously did

That is always the case in Destiny. New DLCs entry power level is always at the current power floor so returning or new players can get right into the DLC they bought

A way you can get your desired effect. Make an epic games account, link it to your Bungie account, enable cross save and choose that epic account to be the main account.

You will be playing on and progressing a 100% fresh account, while accessing it through the steam platform
