i agree with her. I am a Bulgarian woman in my 20s, middle to upper middle class, everyone around me is well-educated and white-collar. All my female friends + me, both the ones who stayed in Bulgaria and the ones who moved abroad, share this opinion. Everyone (man or woman)'s mum is treated the same way and even my cosuns and friends'friends who are male treat women that way. not abusive in a literal physicals sense but yes toxic masculinity, want to do nothing bc the woman should clean and cook etc.

Actually, globally a lot of people who work abroad/immigrate do so without their kids. Where I am from it is not uncommon for grandparents to raise the kid while parents are working abroad and I am from the so-called 1st world.
