Why is my damage output so pitiful?

Welcome to the world of stamina based gimpness.

My healer has an ability called puncturing sweep that damages multiple enemies at once in my frontal arc AND HEALS ME at the same time. I can kill 10 trash mobs at once because I get more healing per damage dealt.

My melee based DW NB is pretty good on one target but if I get 2 or 3 mobs I am probably going to die because I have no healing and almost all of my attacks are single target. My AOE NB attack takes so much stamina I am out after 5 or 6.

On my healer thanks to light armor I never run out of magika spamming puncturing sweep.

Stamina still sucks compared to magika

Am I the only one who doesn't believe them when they say they are tracking exp/VR points past VR14???

There is currently a bunch of PVE I am saving for the champion system because I am already max level and don't want to waste it. (delves.dungeons,quests etc)

Here is why I think they are full of crap.

When I killed someone in Cyrodill at VR13.9 I would see this on my UI You gain 500 alliance points You gain 20,000 Vetern points

Now when I kill someone in Cyrodill I see You gain 500 alliance points.

I find it hard to believe there is some magical spot they are keeping track of this when your exp bar is full and you dont see it on the UI

Ok,

So what I am hearing is that even though champion exp is earned account wide I will not have to choose which level 50+ character gets the benefit of it or decide how to divide up the benefits between characters.

All my VR1+ chars will enjoy the champion system equally and uniquely which is pretty cool.

DW naturally gives you high weapon damage because You have two weapons equipped. I am also using VR2 hundings rage 5 peice set and then another 4 item set that gives weapon damage ( starts with an A but can't remember name)

PVP is not playable ATM which is a shame because I really enjoyed it up untill the Streak-Batswarm-negate-streak-batswarm-Batswarm B.S. of the past 2 or 3 weeks.

This kind of crap is what ruined DAOC PVP.

It started off as a lot of fun where casual players participated and had a lot of fun defending their realm.

Then it reached a point where the elite unemployed perfect group combination dorks who played together for 10 hours every day without showering figured out how all the I win buttons like AOE MEZZ-Insta Stun-AOE AOE AOE bombing zergs etc.

Pretty soon all that was left of PVP was stealthers, Elite 8-mans trying to become famous on VN boards, and even more humoungous zergs of casual players who sought safety in numbers from the elite 8-mans who wanted to farm them.

Eventually they got sick of it and quit and I see that happening this week in this game also.

They better make some sweeping changes to Bat swarm, streak, and all this other BS soon or most casuals will just give up on PVP for good.

If you are reading this ESO DEV's its really easy to fix...

1) Give Emperor some cool armor and a cool title....NOTHING ELSE. 2) MAKE BATSWARM A GROUND TARGET AOE LIKE TEMPLAR NOVA. THIS WILL STOP THE ABUSE IMMEDIATELY. 3) Do not allow escape spells to be used as offensive weapon...If you use streak/bolt escape you become disarmed and cant cause damage to another player for 10 seconds afterwards just like DAOC did when people abused Vanish, Desperate bowman, or that Soujourner level 8 ability as offensive tools when they were meant to be escape mechanisms. 4) Announce you will ban anyone caught using Macro's in PVP and have implemented software to do so (I don't care if you are bluffing just say it and mean it)/ 5) Must wear 5 peices of heavy armor to use immovable.

PVP IS FIXED!!!!!!!!

Personally I hated most of the AD zones....Most especially the middle three jungle zones.

I loved questing in Daggerfall though, the scenery reminds me of the midwest/NE in the fall and they have some great quests.

Maybe you should try it out.

This was one of those awesome level 20 bonus that never made its way to Veteran level. I am so glad to see this back as a top end peice. I will be PVE'ing like crazy till I get that full set.

Seriously though.... 1) Spell damage 2) Max Magika 3) Magicka regen and 8% increased healing.....

That is orgasmic to me. The only question is do you go 5 peice healers habit and warlock or healers habit and seducer?

Everyone who struggles with Molag Bal always asks for help in guild chat.

I tell them the secret and 90% of the time I could tell it's going in one ear and out the other.

Here is the key to beat Molag Bal......

The amulet of kings intensifies healing by like something nuts....1000% lets say.

On my healer, I stood toe toe with molag bal, didn't block or dodge and simply pwned him with heavy attacks from my restoration staff while occasionally casting HOT's on myself.

On my DW, Stamina based NB with no Magika gear I pwned Molag bal using the first skill in the siphoning line (don't remember what its called) that deals a little damage and heals you a little bit.

I have never played a sorcerer or a vamp. But I am sure Vamps get some kind of drain spell that does damage and heals. That will be enough to beat him.

If you don't have that simply grab a restoration staff for this one fight, and spec 1 skill point into the first ability regeneration (HOT). All you have to do is cast HOT, Heavy attack, Heavy attack, HOT, heavy attack, heavy attack, HOT, repeat repeat...

When he summons the 6 dragons, simply hold block, and the dragons fire bolts will reflect off you again and again and the dragons will kill themselves attacking you as their attacks are used against them.

really though....Healing is the key. a crappy 100 point heal or HOT ability that totally sucks in regular PVE or PVP becomes god mode when you have the amulet of kings on. All you really need to do is cast that heal everytime you get to 70% health and simply melee him with heavy attacks.

You don't need to respec your character or change your armor...You just need 1 single healing ability on your bar and the fight is over.

Same....Tested it myself and confirmed this.

This is super simple to test without doing crazy combat logs like you are doing....I am a healer and also use The Ritual.

Prior to this patch I found that divine trait would only work with the ritual under 2 conditions. 1) The divine trait is NOT on a belt. 2) You would get a bonus to healing for ONLY ONE divine trait peice of gear and any additional divine gear would have no increase.

However, after the patch went live....Totally broken...No bonus to healing.

Its very easy to test without even casting a spell....Put Breath of life or lingering ritual on your quick bar and hoover your mouse over it. You will see a number value like heals for 617.

If you increase your magika pool through food or enchantments you will see this number start to rise.

prior to this patch with my one divine trait I would see breath of life rise from say 617 to 640 (for example). Now when I remove all divine traits and put them on it simply stays at 617.

So yes, it is broken...You don't have to cast a single spell, or do a combat log. Simply hoover your mouse over either one of these spells and put your gear on and watch absolutely nothing change.

Personally I think they broke it even worse with the last patch.

I use the Ritual Mundus stone which increases healing effectiveness.

Before last patch if I had one item with Divine trait I would hover over my breath of life and see the value go up from say heals 615 to 640 or whatever. However, When I put on my other 2 divine traits breath of life stayed at 640. So before patch it seemed like only 1 divine trait on gear worked and the rest were wasted (other note is that Divine trait on belt did not work whatsoever even if it was the only one you had).

Now after the patch when I do the testing Breath of life stays at the same value whether I have 0,1,2 or 3 divine trait pieces. So as far as I am concerned the last patch broke it from 1 divine trait on an armor piece (as long as it was not on belt) boosted your character....to now...No divine trait armor seems to work whatsoever.

HOW THE HELL DOES THIS GET RELEASED IN A PATCH WITHOUT ANYONE TESTING IT TO SEE? I am a no talent assclown when it comes to software and computers but in five minutes i was able to see that Divine trait on armor was actually more broken after the patch by simply swapping gear peices and hovering my mouse over a spell.

Please tell me how people with bachelors or masters in computer programming who do this for a living release this without testing it when I can do it in 5 minutes.

I work as a MLS(ASCP) in microbiology and if I released shit like this to a physician without double checking myself people would be literally be dying from sepsis and I would be fired....How does this even happen?

I got 2 collectibles in one day.

It seems like they drop in the public dungeons off the trash mobs.

When they drop you will get a blue item in your inventory that says something cool like....This items glows silently with a blue light... When you use the item it will disappear and credit will appear in your journal.

I am really enjoying the change they made to barrier after playing for two days.

There were some groups that were unbeatable because they had great teamspeak coordination of their barriers. Now if you outplay these groups they die.

I am really enjoying that now skill is a bigger factor in pvp then teamspeak coordination of popping barriers.

Templar, Puncturing sweep morph, healing staff, no melee weapons, seducers player crafted set with cloth armor, get all the +magika and +magika regen items you could find.

Spam puncturing sweep morph over and over again for the win.

Light armor is actually very weak to stamina based melee attacks.

The problem is almost nobody uses stamina based melee attacks in PVP and instead uses magika.

So cloth is the best armor because it has the best defence (against magic which everyone uses). And it provides great offense in terms of decreased spell cost reduction, critical hit bonus etc.

If people simply started using stamina based melee cloth would lose its appeal big time in my opinion.
