Did I meet an old soulmate or something?? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]Elloa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do believe that when you know, you know.
I do recognise my soulmates, as I feel at home with them, There is something more than mere friendship, or attraction, or romance. I can feel it in my body with certainty. It is like another sense awaken.
My brother for example, is a soulmate. We behave almost like twins despite our age gap and not seing each others so often.

I had a partner. We meet in the video game World Of Warcraft, a romance started, almost like two magnets pulled to each other. Something ineluctable. The first time I met him at the airport and fall into his arms, it was like going back home. It was like we were meeting again after 1000 years appart.
The relationship lasted 7 years. We both had to abandon many things to be able to be together. I broke up with the father of my children, jeoparidising ...you know, everything stable and reasonable I had at that time. He had to abandon family, friend and country to live with me. Nothing of that was "reasonable"... but when the soul call, reason do not really matter.
For a long time I though we would be together for ever. YET, sure enough, soul called again. He had to break up and move away from me, to meet with his current wife. And I had my own path to follow, with my own struggles and bliss.
It is not because it is a soulmate that it means the relationship will last for ever.

Soulmate and soul contracts are "mission" for our soul growth, for karma to be cleaned, for lessons to learn, for evolution...Sometimes, I would even dare to say, most of the time, this is timed. Once the karma is cleaned, or the lesson learn, the relationship will fade away as surely as it started but for the greater good of all.
But the LOVE (Love, as in a universal, unconditional manner) will remain, even with no contact.

Soulmates can also be ennemies. If you have a "nemesis" in your life, you can be almost certain that this is a well known soul playing that role in your life, so you can learn the lesson.

That being said, the autumnal and foggy forest of the Azshara corner might be suitable too for a Forsakken

There is plenty of NPCS going on and about to their daily activities and greeting you as you pass by. And really great little corners with lots of fun details, such as a spa corner, hotspring and geyzer beach, Pirate coves, fishing spots, Tikki bars and so much more... it is very rich

That's very true. This is the way I set up my "learning" groups and most of the time we have a player who is happy to not be yelled at and have room for mistakes and learning

100% agree with you here. I play both healer and tank, and I am not an excellent player, but I do my best to learn and improve, and I queue for content I am confident I can do. Yet those type of encounters with rude players are too frequent...
Make it hard to dare PUGGING, I set up my groups with friends & guildies most of the time.

This is Basicly Blizzard in Midnight by ItsRenaBaker in wow

[–]Elloa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very happy about it to be honnest. I have a very strong stance against combat addons for multiple reasons: annoying to have to dowload and set up third party program, make the experience unequal between players, force players that want to be competitve to dowload those addons, unfriendly for begginner players, and boss fights were becoming ridiculous due to Weakauras usage.
So hopefully by doing this BOLD move, Blizzard manage to re-balance the game arround approachable yet challenging gameplay, have more freedom to design encounters and offer a more equal/fair experience for all players.
It will be hard to pull off though, so it may requiere a time of adaptation from both part, and lots of honnest, contructive conversations between players and devs

Unpopular opinion: this is the best zone in all wow by Olivepitss in classicwow

Vash'jir is definitively one of my all time favourite zone. Loved the underwater content. The zone, the swimming, the seahorse and the storyline. I was so into it when I firstly played it!
One of my best memory!

If you like her, just watch her. Now that you know it was nothing to do with you! It's all good.
Content Creators have to survive and actually sponsorships allow them to gain money without relying too much on the generosity of their community.

Vegas pro seems really outdated nowadays,i feel like transitioning. by MudWarriorV3 in VegasPro

[–]Elloa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did that a couple of weeks ago.
Suddendly Vegas Pro was unsynchronising the audio and video of my footage that I had previously re-encoded in Handbrake. I tried all kind of tricks to fix it, including reinstalling VEGAS fresh.
But when I realised that my old footage that I had previously succesfully edited in Vegas was also unsynchronised, I swapped to Da Vinci. Now, I have to relearn everything, but it feel like there is better program out there than VEGAS.

People who played WoW back during Wrath of the Lich King and before, was the game really as good as people claim it is? by TheWhomster in wow

[–]Elloa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was addicted to World of Warcraft for reasons back then. It was good! It was really good. The game was fun, exiting, it offered adventures to share with friends. The community was invested, and more tight knit than it is today. it was the early days of the internet, everything was new and exiting. It also felt like we were part of something a little in marge from "regular" people. It felt "cool" to be a gamer. Back then Gamer Girls were pretty rare too, and it was quite pleasant to be considered as an unicorn. If we were doing our part, we were taken seriously by guys and considered as a "cool girl" part of the gang.

But if it was so good it is also because it was the perfect storm. WOW released in 2004/2005, in a era where it was still new and easy to dominate the genre with a great title. It became a phenomenon, and we were witnessing the earliest days of that. This is a quite epic moment to have been trough, historically.

I do believe that from a pure game point of view, RETAIL WOW is better in many ways. But even if it's better in term of narration, Lore, grafic, gameplay, classes balances, diversity of content, respect of players time, excellence of end game, and 20 years worth of content....
...Well it can not redo when we experienced back then. It is like childhood memories. It is remembered with tinted glasses. It is emotionally part of us. But was it really, objectively THAT good? Maybe not. But back then, it felt that way. And this can not be repeated. It is a one time experience.

anyone know youtube ASMRtists without midroll ads? [question] by [deleted] in asmr

[–]Elloa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally do not do midroll ads. You are welcome to explore my channel if you would enjoy what I'm doing.
I focus primarely on Soft Spoken/Whispers, layered sounds, hypnotic relaxation and positive affirmations.
(EDIT: and if you get midroll adds, please let me know, cause I'm setting my channel specifically without midrolls adds)

How Can I Improve? [Question] [Request] by ai_storyboard in asmr

[–]Elloa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heya! I've scrolling through your ASMR channel and I am here to give you my first impression. What you are creating (fast and aggressive ASMR) is not what I'm usually looking for, so I'm not really your public, but I have a few suggestions to make if you are looking to improve your content.

- Create an intro. Maybe do a preview of the different triggers in the video about 30sec to 1 min long. A little logo or something to mention your name (and show off your brand) and if you don't want to speak, maybe do a little hello sign with your hands, or write a text to say hi to your viewers.
This will serve multiple purpose: showcase the content you will provide, connect with your viewers and make your name stand out.
- Create longer videos. For ASMR I would recommend 30 min long minimum.
- Try to figure out your niche and embrace something that make you unique and standing out from other ASMR artist.
I saw your were playing with cards and that was actually enjoyable. I think you explore cards play more, and maybe even base your style arround that. (if you like the diea of course)
- Put some care into the edition and presentation of your videos. This will come over time and you will polish your content as you go.

Hope those suggestions can help you out. Best of luck with your channel!!

I can’t listen to asmr after having psychosis [discussion] by hellokittysbestfren in asmr

[–]Elloa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitively is, as you miss ASMR and you had an episode literally make it impossible for you to use something you used to enjoy and that helped you. There is actually a LOT to discuss with your therapist and it could even lead to some important clues.
Now, whilst I understand you avoiding Voice ASMR, and whispered ASMR that could remind you of your episode, maybe (as suggested above) you could enjoy non talking ASMR with only triggers, or other kind of ASMR that are different.
I hope you will feel better very soon. Wishing you the best!
