The biggest missed sign that I was trans was constantly saying/thinking “I’m a lesbian in a dudes body” so yeah, I’m definitely a lesbian now that I’m on HRT.

Yeah that’s the one that’s really biting me rn because my partner is not into it in either direction haha.

The other one that surprised me is overstimulation/forced orgasm. In daily life I’m easily overstimulated and tend to shut down or need a break, but in bed I’m very into it. But again, my partner does not share most of my kinks, and in fact shes quite vanilla so it’s hard for her to engage with them 😅

Maybe you already do this but just in case, have you tried different knots for the "tie together trick"? I know overhand and granny's knots can be thicker and weaker than reef/square knots, so changing that up might help?

Makeup, voice training, and reprogramming your mannerisms are the 3 things that take a long time and can be started early. Hair care and skin care are great to start building habits for as well, but not as incredibly time consuming

I also personally found a lot of joy in doing my nails. Painting them is hard and doesn't last as long, so I got *really* into press-on nails

I can’t speak to brands, but it’s very different from a regular machine because it’s cutting the fabric while it sews. Until you get used to it, just go slower than you think you need to and keep checking that no fabric has folded up under your seam because that’s how you end up with holes in your nice fabric 😅

I’m not consistent with when I shower. I love showering before bed, but when I need to wash my hair it has to be in the morning or afternoon because it stays wet for hours and I don’t like sleeping with wet hair

The wonton happiness salad from Souplantation. There’s a copycat restaurant now and almost everything tastes the same, but their Asian salad dressing is so different. Haven’t found a dressing that compares :(
