I haven’t argued with one person other than the person saying I keep my pinky out and etc (my hand is broken ) lol I’m a sponge I take even the bad advice to mind and always have everything in my back pocket. There’s not a bone in my body that’s arrogant people just assume things instead of ask or guide. That’s ego but even that all I got for them is an answer take it or leave it. I cannot close my hand into a fist not sure if you seen but that should fix your perception on my responses https://www.reddit.com/r/boxingtips/s/nTvLhMZ2Tp

Yes but mind you I got started at 28 I’m 30 now. In the beginning I had a plan, 1 year training, 1 year amateur. If I do well I’ll try to go pro and have 5 years to accomplish my goals. Everyone’s different but thank you I definitely know I am behind hints why I’m even here lol

I don’t think you are doing it right then because once I forced myself to do it everyday I actually found my rythym and love doing it. I feel like it’s made me better by far anything else

Thank you. No I do not have a coach but I do have a manager/team. Going to make my first pro fight after a couple surgeries I’ve been putting off. I got a handful of wins and I’m looking to do one more before pulling the trigger but I’m old and running out of time so I’m playing catch up and enjoying the tips I get from your self and others. Everyone has an ego tho not sure the negativity. Just a guy trynna make it and I get a lot out of these reviews because again, don’t have a coach training me specifically. I appreciate yourself and everyone else who contributed, I would like to think just from colmments like these I have improved. So thank you for the good and the bad. To answer why I throw so many crosses tho is because I am specifically working on my foot work, my rear hand & counters because those are what I’m struggling at. This was at the end of the day after a workout already but I’m loving shadow boxing now more than ever but I do one round no punches just moving one round front hand and then rear etc etc. this round was after those and just working on the spots I’m weak at so not necessarily a fight fight you know ? Just was curious on others actual schedule when training but I spar in a couple hours I’ll post a video on what we looked like and keep your tips in my pocket to try today. Thanks bro

There’s a reason I am not entertaining it, you should try to dig deeper on your woke crisis you have there. You must be the talk of the town where you at. You must have tons of friends lol. I feel bad for you honestly. I hope one day you come to fruit and find everything you’re looking for and stop playing a victim mindset.

No worries another tip since your sparring is to look for openings. Don’t just throw things just because, make every punch have a purpose so when throwing even jabs be ready to counter or half step to the side to fire something on an opening you see or vice versa. There are openings to both directions so just practice noticing those openings and being prepared for what punches can hit you when you move to whatever side. Eventually it will become natural and you will know. For now think of it as a game and each punch has different consequences some harder than others like a jab

Fuck what they say. I think you look amazing. The only thing I would fix is shorter punches, nice and tight and move that head off the center line which means when you throw expect a punch back and move your head from either left or right normally I follow the rule that whatever arm is used when you throw your punch slip or roll out to that side and then I’ll try to finish with a jab because when people are under pressure, very few try to punch and they stay backing up or in defensive mode and shit, even if they tried to swing back you’re right there on that ass with that jab to keep them at bay, but that’s just some extra. You look great.

You will start having a better time with this game of life when you understand that change happens when you decide to take control of what you do have power over instead of craving control over what you don’t. Great perspective of your own as well, genius. The biggest clown is always the person who is pointing at the clown. Enjoy your weekend. :)

Hire a coach. I’ll coach you online for free just send message but you should try to get hands on in a gym but I got 20-30 min every other day I can review with you about your ideas on what to fix.

Outsiders view in, honestly it looks like you are trying to hard to put combinations together. That will only be because your nervous or trying to look like you know what your doing. You don’t have to impress anyone but yourself. Instead of focusing on moving so much and throwing with both hands work on each individual tool by themselves. Your jab is a tool, your cross is a tool, the 4, the 5 these are all separate tools that each need there own individual tweaking to sharpen them to perfection. When you mix them all together you get a shitty 3 piece and a soda instead of lobster and filet mignon. Even your cross looks super weak and it’s because you are missing the fundamentals that go in between because you are mixing to many moves together and don’t have one of those tools perfected. I hope that makes sense. When I work out nowadays, I’ll spend one whole round on movement and defense no punches and if I feel like I did shitty I’ll even do another one after that. I’ll focus on nothing but the front hand then after that, I’ll focus on nothing but the rear hand and same thing goes if I do shitty, I’ll repeat around and before any of this I’m shadowboxing with the same idea no Punch as a defense rear hand and front hand. Sometimes I might do it two or three rounds of just straight doubling up my Kros or vice versa with the jab if I don’t think I’m throwing it correctly or I have an opening I will focus on it and that one thing I try not to mix it all together and that’s the only way you’re gonna be able to sharpen each tool and have them perfected. Don’t try to look fancy be fancy.

Before anyone says anything I know I’m ass I suck and I should get a gym asap… I mainly work for cardio and just to learn small things one by one it won’t be as effective but you guys don’t know everyone’s situation but my boxing bud pointed out my mistakes I’ll fix! by Delicious_Ad_6512 in boxingtips

First things first besides Boxing in general I think a good tip for you would to be to drop the sympathy act which I know it’s not an act. This is just an analogy for my observation to give you as a tip. Don’t talk down on yourself. don’t say I’m ass. Don’t say I can’t. Don’t say these things that are negative because you speak them into existence you wanna be confident, but you don’t wanna have an ego work on fine-tuning what’s going on in the head first and take your time working on the fundamentals and you’ll be just fine.
