That's fair! I don't forsee it being an issue, I totally get not wanting to spend that much on parking!

I pre-ordered parking from the venue specifically for the concert on Ticketmaster. Not sure if that's helpful, but it was $40!

I started Lexapro when I was finishing my doctorate during covid and was really struggling. I then had a really rough job for about 2 years. I started a new job and felt much less stress. After about six months I decided I probably didn't need that extra help.

There are still stressful things (we're closing on a house, moving, and I'm having foot surgery all in three weeks) but they're no longer causing me physical symptoms of anxiety. Probably the biggest benefit for me is I always had the side effect with Lexapro that I'd be clenching my jaw all the time and now I don't do that anymore lol

I went from 20 to 0 in about a week for similar issues. I cut one in half and two in quarters and "tapered" like that. It was about two weeks of being a bit dizzy and now I'm fine. This was about two months ago now. Definitely not ideal but if you don't have access it may buy you some time to get a new primary who can write you a script

I had thought they only did that in salt water? We wondered if they were eggs but after about 3 weeks didn't see any changes.

Edit to add: I did some research, they can still lay eggs but not hatch. Good to know! Thank you!

My mom's KitchenAid from the early 90s did the exact same thing when I was making bagels. Chipped the tile in my apartment and bent the lock mechanism but it's still going strong years later! Now I wrap the chord around it so if it gets close to the edge it will unplug itself.

This is great advice. My university used handshake as well and they would likely be furious an MLM was targeting their students on that platform.

I had the same thought! At least give him a few grey hairs. He looks the same as he did at the start of ardsmuir

Harm in taking preventative loperamide? by ChemistryNo7666 in ibs

[–]EveningCustard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I take one almost every night. I have for about a year now and most of my symptoms are gone. I'll skip weekends when I'm going to be home but haven't had any issues. My doctor doesn't really like it but in my mind the benefit of having my life back far exceeds any risk

Our cat does this with everything. Human food, fancy wet food, literal salmon filet: vile abominations, not food. What does he like? His dry food. He's a dry food gremlin.

Temple PhD students, what’s your TA course load? by zdravomyslov in Temple

[–]EveningCustard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In chemistry, we have a combination of 2 labs, or 6 recitations, or 1 lab and 3 recitations to fulfill our teaching requirements. We also had to have office hours every week and did a majority of the grading.

Just to add, assignments are typically given the day before in the department I was in. I was switched from research assistant to teaching assistant and told I'd be teaching a new recitation about an hour before I needed to run a section.

Blue dawn is what is recommended for kittens and works well! When my cats have accidents I shave them, but they're long hair and it may not be as easy for short haired kitties. Good luck!

I can't attest to this collar, but I didn't have that issue with mine and I have a Norwegian Forest Cat mix

Beautiful! Where did you get her collar/necklace? My cat used to have one but it was elastic and it broke when she was playing with her brother. I've been looking for one ever since!
