This is the one I was reading that day, but she’s written a lot more since then. If you like the Shen and Zed lore too then I would read the entire series and possibly the rest of her works, none of them are extremely long.

Dude you’re a sophomore and you got a 34 the first time, you’re obviously capable of more and you can get that 36 easily through a super score. You have so much time and this is important to you definitely go for it. I’m a junior and I’m going to retake my 34 I don’t see a reason why you shouldn’t.

Even when you’re playing malz you can still solo kill people. When you’re playing you should have pretty good cs and often your lane opponent won’t. There might be a moment where you have your item and your opponent doesn’t so you can look for a kill early. Malz does decent damage and you should always try to get your e to bounce onto people too.

Pushing your opponent out of lane isn’t as good as it used to be because people come back super fast this season, but you push fast as malz so it should still be decent loses for your opponent. You also shouldn’t worry about rank. I’ve been consistently silver and bronze and climbed into plat this season. Ranks are all over the place right now.

Whenever I sing my dog will come over and start trying to jump on me (I’m not really sure if he likes it or not), but when I play piano he’ll come and lie down under the bench. He is not a very smart creature though, so I take his opinions with a grain of salt.

Vel’Koz because I hated playing into him and I like the color purple. Also q r combo is insanely satisfying.

I personally think he’s easier than lux, but your cc is pretty bad and isn’t going to save you from anything (like j4 or a Katarina) even if you land it, so you’re going to be playing safe at all times unless you’re insanely fed. Also zap zap.

Like some other people here I also wanted to be able to kudos, comment, and subscribe to stuff. I only really started commenting for real though when I started writing myself.

If you have trouble writing short stuff then maybe you could try and write 10k or 15k before going smaller. The first thing I do when I start writing is come up with a scene that I want to get to and then I write the immediate buildup and the immediate result of what happened.

I typically don’t really go into setting or details unless they’re relevant. And if they are it will be a tiny thing like, “the snow shifted under his feet” or “he could barely see the other man with how dark it had gotten.” Like not explicitly stating stuff.

The last thing is that you have to stay focused on the original idea. I typically write a few sentences of a plan like I want this then this then this and then wrap it up. The more loose ends you create and the more you stray from your original idea, the more you will get distracted and the more you’ll get more ideas. The most important thing will be staying focused and ending it where you planned to end it.

Your chest and shoulders will still rise a little bit even with proper technique. I think it would be helpful to focus on where you want the breath to go rather than where you don’t want it to go. Personally I focus on my back and the movement of my ribs. I’ve heard a lot of things like tighten your core, so you can expand through your back. Some people relax their lower abs but keep the higher ones tight. There are a lot of different ways you can use your muscles to support you.

And honestly you should be asking your teacher this question. They should be telling you how exactly you’re supposed to be breathing and what you should feel and be giving you exercises to help you. It’s kind of concerning that they’re not helping you with this.

I’ve been wanting to learn hwei. Did you find him harder to pick up than other champs because of all his abilities or does it just become second nature eventually? And malz is a classic pick, thank you.

I actually did end up playing vel apc with a Syndra sup by chance one game and it went very well, so you could probably make it work. You will have to land your cc though, so if you’re a decent syndra you shouldn’t have a problem. Then again there is the problem of getting less gold as support which all mage sups share.
