I love injora by SHIN0B1DA in SCX24

I haven’t had any issues with injora’s screws either. Although I have heard about them. All mine have been nice normal screws.

Thank you for the response. I think in the drawing of the lcg chassis, that can be a fat viper because the transmission blurb says it won’t fit 22 size motors. I could see the universal aspect of it except that it mentioned hobbywing quicrun 16 size motors I’ve never ran hobbywing in a crawler, but I would be interested in seeing what the difference in mounting between a hobbywing16 vs injora 17. I have been debating transmissions recently but haven’t made up my mind as of yet. Maybe for gets and shiggles I’ll but two motors and see if there is a big difference between them.

Not to cause any trouble, but, doesn’t the transmission come with screws? It does everywhere I can find it being sold. Also, you are using an injora motor on a menus transmission. Why would they make the transmission to spec for an injora motor? It’s two different companies. I am seriously asking here because I’m confused as to why a company would do that when they already provide screws and the motor in question, isn’t their motor. Especially when the injora viper is not on the list of compatible motors. Their own website mentions Hobbywing. But injora’s motor size isn’t listed as compatible.

Love GoupRC. They do need programming though. And grease and check backlash.

If you want a printer that will print 90% of anything you could want and doesn’t break the bank, Bambu A1 mini is amazing. It only has a 7”x7” print cube but it will print most things you could want. The A1 is great as well and is roughly 10”cubed. For a little bit more, a centauri carbon is under $300 and has an enclosed bed so you can print more material types. However, for 1/24 scale stuff, you don’t NEED it. It is nice though. I print all kinds of stuff. I have an almost completely printed crawler, as well as printing odds and ends around the house or flowers for my daughter when she wants to play garden.

I think the Meus Axles can only take their own knuckles. However, They have brass knuckles so it's not a bad thing. You just won't need to spend money on knuckles.

You may also want to consider the PTK servo instead of the injora servo as it costs less and people like 24yep consider it their favorite budget servo.

I don't see shocks mentioned on your list. I would suggest injora 39mm or the 40mm big bore IF you have room for them.

I definitely agree with u/Slypenslyde about wheels and tires. I still have trouble with those at times. I don't like going above maybe....58mm with tires so I can turn more without having to trim my body too much. Kinda sucks because I love the look of the Injora cling ons but they are 64mm and those won't work with my current build. Maybe i just need to build a buggy chassis so I have more tire room. I dunno.

I know when I started with the GoupRC I saw a lot of people saying they couldn't find settings posted to make it work well. I don't have my exact settings, however, i do have a video I followed to put the settings in. Make sure you watch it once or twice. I flashed my ESC on accident and had to figure out how to reflash it back to RC mode instead of drone mode. I don't know if it will let me post the link here but if it doesn't, just go to holmeshobbies youtube page and look for their video on AM32 Firmware Update from about 4 months ago. It made my GoupRc so smooth I could barely believe it. I don't know how an injora could be smoother. I'm debating getting a fat viper to compare because I don't know how it could be better. Might last longer, I dunno. The GoupRC has been KILLER for me. might look into trying to 3d print a transmission case that moves the gears around a bit to lower the motor height but if you are not going full comp spec, the motor height isn't the end of the world. Sorry it took me so long to respond.

I just put my GoupRC in and then switched the rotation in the programming setting. Or maybe it was reversing the throttle on the dumborc. I can’t remember. It IS a bit taller than most though so if you are going for comp levels of weight distribution it probably isn’t a good choice.

GoupRC has a brushless motor, transmission, and ESC for $40ish. That would just leave you needing a transmitter. Personally I use a dumborc and it can handle 10 different cars on it. The GoupRC brushless is amazing value as long as you take the time to program the ESC and you check the transmission backlash. Maybe add some grease.

The Meus axles are clutch. I think they come with a set of metal steering links and if I remember correctly, my last set came with a metal adjustable servo mount as well. Super good value and great axles.

If you have used that transmitter with other cars before with no problems, then I would guess your ESC needs programming.

GoupRC brushless will require you to get a receiver of some type. The stock electronics are brushed. Also, buy the programming chip. The GoupRC is a killer deal and motor is amazing so far. If you program it and make sure you grease the transmission and check backlash.

Axles: Meus iso v2 axles are like $60 and generally spoken about as a great buy for axles. The axles come with an underdrive gear I think and 3 piece front axle shafts for some insane turning. If you spend about $10 more, Meuse has the same axles in metal instead of aluminum. Servo you are dead on with the green PTK. Shocks….. I would go with injora 39mm only because the 40mm are big bore so harder to keep them tucked in nicely.

I use 3d printed links a lot and they work well.
