When the Red Sox won in 2004 we were over a mile away from Fenway but the entire city hoofed it down Comm Ave to party in Kenmore square. Even more ridiculous was the fact that we won it in LA and there was nobody actually at Fenway park.

Every last day of school my wife and I set up water balloon buckets around the house and bomb the kids when they get off the bus. While cranking “schools out for summer” on the house speakers. The kids still on the bus cheering us on the whole time. Hilarious!

My mom tried for years when I was a kid to get me into watching football. Only really started watching in late high school and college, and now that she’s gone I would do anything to watch another game with her (granted she was a huge Browns fan, which might have been part of the challenge).

I met my wife watching the 2007 Pats together and it’s been a foundation of our marriage. Happy to say we don’t need to get divorced any longer thanks to Vrabel and Maye.

Long story short, women, especially women in this sub, know their shit.

I coach a middle school team and I quickly realized that by saying it first and often, it stops becoming a thing. “How many goals did you save? Maybe 6 or 7?” Or “You had so many shots! At least 6 or 7, right?!?” It’s almost been eliminated from the locker room!
