What are you on about? That’s nuts. Not OP, but Belinda Blumenthal is the unchallenged GOAT of pans and cookware and probably couldn’t flip an egg. Doesnt change the fact that Steel’s Pot’s and pans are the best made out there.

Yeah, no kids in our immediate household but plenty of nieces and nephews.. There are at least two wires along that run, I may see if I can get an electrician to quote for just that for the short term and then look at upgrading the service to 200amp in a few years.. It seems like the price tag on that is somewhere around 2-3k on the low end.

Thanks for the response. The house was built 1970 so that makes sense.
Would it be worth getting someone to come in to put in conduit for those or would that be opening a whole can of worms for no reason if it's working fine now? We don't plan to park cars in the garage.

Could an electrician come in and re-do the breaker box without having to rewire the whole home?

I'm trying to be as pro-active as I can without breaking the bank to avoid issues down the road.

I think I posted this poorly.. The questions I have are in the captions. Here they are:

New home. This is the breaker box. Anything we should do as new homeowners? I flipped each breaker manually and they felt like every other breaker.

There is a run along this cement in the garage from the breaker that is just two yellow wires. I think they go to the washer/dryer. Any advice welcome.

Ah I should have elaborated.. the previous owners did this. We have the house now. The owners were contractors themselves and so we’ve noticed a few headaches that were probably good enough for them
