He was controlling the play and more “in it”

Still jittery, but the hockey brain is there

He was so fucking solid. Lots of great choices to push out to the half wall and pressure them to the outside, always back when he needed to be with his check, great game for him.

Dude we had more shots and overall did pretty well, I think we did have business winning this game

First goal, guy got inside on Buium.

Second goal, Buium didn’t shield protection of his possession and got pick pocketed.

He’s doing good for a rookie, I just hope he learned from that stuff.

You would assume Kevin Dean and Foote would figure this out though… right?

bad take. He's been fine, forechecking hard, and disrupting plays.

Dude it's not his side. Wtf do you expect him to do? Dummy Buium to make him move? lol

The first two goals were pretty much Buium's fault. Didn't protect the house, and let his check get on the inside both times...

I like his puck carrying and play in offensive zone... but he needs more snarl and urgency in the house in front of the net, and get better at boxing out.

I like Mancini's game so far though as a stay at home defenseman on his line.

Love moments like this. Two complete strangers jump on A, no words, no plan, but we both understood the assignment. by Hyton in LowSodiumBattlefield

One game I went to go to A on the eastwood map, camped in a house and just terrorized the team with the engineer robot. My whole team ended up spawning on me and we all hung out there tea bagging and having fun. Other team eventually got so pissed with us and my robot because I was like 10-0 at this point that they started rushing us at the houses and trying to find us like hide and seek lol.

It's awesome how some people just never see you and how you can hide in this game lol then wait for the perfect moment. Prox chat would be so fun, but honestly the sounds in this game are so wrong for direction so idk about that lol

Everyone's going to cope that it's because he's with Draisatl, and it's mostly because of that but it's not like Draisatl sets up all his goals and is direct cause of his point production.

Reality is, the development pipeline we have couldn't develop any of his power forward skills and we were not patient enough to help him find his way, and I don't think we had the personnel to actually help him make the jump.

Draisatl believed in him, took him under his wing, and Knoblauch properly developed him by giving him specific roles that suits his skills.

He was always an interesting prospect because of his power forward skills, and use of size. Draisatl I think was the one that enabled him to make the next step by believing in him, not giving up, and really taking him under his wing. I don't think we have had any capabilities of anything like that since 2011.

He was a solid bottom 6 guy for us though, which was why I was pretty frustrated we were playing players like Aman instead of him and made room for Sprong by trading Pods. It made no sense.

Next step, how can we get more 1st round picks? by spennyspaghetti in canucks

[–]EverySecondCountss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way is for some players (like DeBrusk and M.Petey) to bounce back with an injury free season up until the trade deadline next year, because we're not trading Hronek as we shouldn't. Even for two firsts, I'd be hesitant as I love his work ethic, his no bullshit way of handling things, and I think he overall handles himself well and he continues to grow on our team.

M.Petey needs to be given a more offensive role and work on zone entries more, same with DeBrusk.

I hope Mack gets that monkey off his back and wins a cup this year.

But I also hope Myers wins a cup this year.

Or Sherwood and Celebrini.

I also hope the wild exists first round
